This is so hard to look at. They all died in such heartbreaking and brutal ways, none of them deserved that.

This scene was so beautiful and offered me so much hope. It inspired love and warmth and will remain to be one of my all time favourites.

My queen. She gave a voice to people who didn’t have one and inspired many to be the best they could be. I will never love a character like I love you. These 8 years have been such a terrific ride following your character liberate and protect. Westeros was never deserving of you or your armies. She was a protector, a lover, a kind soul. I am so glad that we got see her thrive as a woman. A powerful woman.

And to Emilia Clarke- You truly are a real queen, you should be so proud of yourself for portraying such a strong woman who reflects so much of you! I have so much admiration for you and love you so much. Thank you.

Daenerys, to me, will always be the girl who walked into the fire and walked out with three dragons. She will always be the breaker of chains, the freer of slaves. She will always be the khaleesi of the great grass sea, the stallion who mounts the world and united the Dothraki into a single khalasar. She will always be the mother of dragons. She will always be the protector of her people. She will always be the hope for a better world than the one that was given to her.

Daenerys will always be a hero.

I will never be sorry for believing in Daenerys Targaryen.

Or for Jonerys for that matter. People can talk all they want about it being a “Disney ending”. It’s not. I wouldn’t have been one. They have both lost so much over the years. There are so many other ways this could have gone down.

I’ll never be sorry for putting my faith in what an amazing heroine Daenerys should have become. She’ll always be that character to me.

I’m certainly not going to let some pathetic men with their antiquated ideas about women, power, love, loss, and grief take Daenerys away from me.

They want me to hate her, but I don’t. They’ve failed in that objective because I reject the narrative they’ve created.

I don’t know what we’ve been given this season, but really anything past 8x03 is not my Daenerys.
