“I don’t know why you’re mad, I was like… 70% clothed!”
“When I can see your skin through the clothes? It doesn’t count.”
I don’t know how she’d get this, but sexy Luna ooops

To say that Aulea was unamused was a severe understatement when it came to the picture. She was almost positive she knew who it was for, and she would have to sit them both down to talk about it. “Luna, I never want to see this again. Ever.”

Was she staring? Absolutely. Did she plan on stopping any time soon? Well. As long as this was the man she was going to be married to and the one she would call her husband? No way on Shiva’s life was she ever going to stop looking at that body. Unless she was doing things to it.

“I think it would.... indecent for me to show just how much I love your body, my King, while there are others around.”

“I think someone needs to put a shirt on. Either put a shirt on, or meet me in my chambers soon. Either way.”
spooprite:
" uh huh. “ teal eyes appraise, there’s touches of black in the top they’ve both agreed on, and paired with one of the many pairs of heels that line the dragoon’s closet, she’s going to set out this evening dressed to kill. there’s nothing more dangerous than a well-dressed woman with attitude, though the latter will take some work to push her from graceful and well-bred, to flirty and thriving. calloused thumbpad traces the line of her lower lip with a hum, the other adjusting the lapels before she turns to rootle in her middle drawer. “ one more thing and we should be good to go. ”
“Good.” Aulea took a step back, looking down at herself in the heels that she had on and the leather jacket, her tongue licking her lips. This was a far cry from what she would have normally worn, the regal dresses and outfits fit for a queen, and before that someone that worked and lived in the citadel. She had never had a ‘rebellious’ stage, had never wanted to be elsewhere. She had Regis, after all. Now, though, Aulea had no one - Noctis was gone on his own path, and her dear husband was gone. If Aranea could help her? If she could change her? Wasn’t it worth it. “What are you looking for, gorgeous?”

regisomniscaelum:
What a curiously absurd question. She was right, of course. Well- maybe not about the law, but it was ingrained deeply within Insomnia’s traditions that only those of noble birth should be closest to the King. His father had drilled it into him as a child. But then again, his Father was a precocious man in his eyes, and Regis would sooner delight in poking himself with something sharp than listen to him. So instead he stepped forwards, reaching out a hand to gently rub his thumb across her left cheek, pure fondness radiating from his expression.
“You have been growing older with me since we were small,” He replied, voice near whisper as he searched her eyes out with his own. “I would grow old with no other still.”
It was the soft touch on her cheek that first had Aulea quiet, standing still as she simply stared at the man in front of her. She had watched Regis grow from a young boy playing in the gardens, to the man that he was now, and she was proud to have seen it happen. He was nothing short of special and she knew, one day, he would make a great king. The kind of ruler that Insomnia needed, especially with everything that was happening on the other side of the shield, from what they’ve been told. She’d also rather have nothing than to be by his side each step of the way, she just wanted to make sure it would all be okay. Aulea would hate to be the reason things were rough on Regis. “While that is very sweet, my love, I’m just trying to look out for you.” Her own hand rose to cover the taller mans, holding his palm against the fullest part of her cheek, her head tilting to the side just a little to feel it even more.
tenebrianflower:
Her arms came around her, and it only caused Luna to hide more against her form. She just needed the comfort in order to not melt down. She understood that this was how Noctis was. But still, without him to that point, as she said, it stung.
“I don’t want him mad at me. I was just trying to help.” She whimpered. “I didn’t mean it…”
“I get that, honey, but he’s going to be mad if he’s mad. There’s nothing either one of us can do, except maybe apologize, and you didn’t do anything wrong to apologize for.” That was something that Aulea was adamant about. She didn’t want Luna to feel like she had to tip-toe around her son. Noctis would have to get used to her and how things were. He couldn’t always get antsy and upset just because she didn't’ agree with his choices. That wasn’t how relationships worked, and she knew that they were bound for that road pretty soon. It was obvious to see it already, even if her stubborn kid couldn’t see it.
utamplectormors:
“Did I? Thank you for reminding me. I must’ve forgotten in the time between me saying so and you getting here.” He’s bitterly sarcastic, sitting in a very larger overstuffed red armchair. Beside him is a small little woman, dressed in lingerie, but she’s fast asleep, sunken into the chair, somehow comfortable around Mors. His concubine was always somehow unfazed by him. “Sit.” He gestures with a cigar, over to the couch across from him, and stared right into her eyes. “I’d like to have a chat.”
It was the reply that had Aulea tensing up more than she already had been. She usually felt comfortable in the citadel, but around King Mors? There was always this air of intimidation, this aura of unease that surrounded the area. She wasn’t sure what it was, or if it was simply the man himself, but it never failed to make her uneasy. Her eyes flickered over to the woman in the room before doing what was told of her, sitting carefully on the edge of the couch. Her back didn’t touch the back of the couch at all, her eyes and head staying just tilted enough to be respectful. “Yes, your highness?”
tenebrianflower:
“I know I know.” Luna just sighs. She knows that Noctis is years behind her in maturity especially, but, that did not mean that whenever they fought…. it didn’t hurt. She’d only been trying to help him. Giving a little advise as someone who also maintained a public position.
She hadn’t meant to make him yell.
Luna just sniffled, leaning her head against Aulea. She was trying her best to be a big girl and not to cry… but it was hard.
“I understand, dear, it is going to sting, but just remember what I say. He will get past this, and he’ll apologize.” It was something that Aulea knew for sure. Noctis tended to react with his emotions, not really thinking things through, but he always got his head screwed on right after. He had time to calm down and felt bad. Just like she had talks like this with Luna, she had the same talks with her son. Her arm curled around the smaller girl’s shoulders, holding her close for a moment. “It’ll be okay.”
royalrite:
to finally be lifted up earns a bright smile from the little thing, arms wrapped around slender neck as his mother adjusted his rest, and when he was settled he leant into her and coaxed her to rock him slowly, a sort of comfort thing.
“Mmmm.” speaking was… difficult. but mother only replied when he spoke. he thought it QUITE unfair. “Wanna come play?”
The familiar weight of Noctis against her hip was one that Aulea would always love, even if it hadn’t been long she had felt it. She had wanted to be a mother longer than she could remember, and to have that finally? To have a child as wonderful as Noctis? It was a dream come true, especially with her husband. Regis was a great father, and she only hoped Noct grew up happy and knowing how much he was love by them all. “Come play? Why, I suppose I could do that.” The words were obviously teasing, not at all feeling put out by the request. It was something she would always make time for, no matter what else was going on at the time. “What would you like to play, little one?”
floweringeclipse:
A mirthful squeak sounds from the kid’s smiling lips, ever excited for the chance to play with such gorgeous hair. Her hair braiding skill isn’t the best, of course, she’s still learning, though she’s sure she can manage a small and simple braid. Hopefully she won’t disappoint the queen.
Little legs shuffle close to the woman’s now-seated form. Iris decides to focus on the dark locks cascading down Aulea’s left shoulder, sitting atop the queen’s lap because she knows it will take her a long time to finish a braid and she gets tired of standing rather easily (oh, it’s totally not a way for her to remain so close to the queen…).
“If I don’t finish tonight, may I visit you again tomorrow?” Iris asks as pudgy fingers begin to card through the strands, already worried that she might not have enough time to spend with the queen before Jared picks her up.
A small chuckle left her lips when the small girl sat down on her lap, her own hands curling around her waist to make sure she didn’t slip to the side while she worked. She should have known that was what would happen should she move, but she had been trying to make it easier on little Iris. Sometimes it felt like she didn’t get enough time with this little one, with the girl she considered a daughter as much as Gladio and Noctis were her sons. Others may not understand, but she did. One day, she hoped that Iris would too. The question alone had her smiling again, her eyes closing as she felt a few slight tugs on her hair - nothing painful, almost the same relaxing feeling that her mother gave her when Dea was doing her hair. “You can come visit me whenever you wish, Iris.”
galahdanwildflower:
They both know that Dea lives to serve her– not just as a crownsguard, but as Aulea’s most devoted friend and lover. After everything Aulea had done for her? Her friend’s happiness and well-being are the Galahdan woman’s priorities, and Dea will do everything she can for the queen. Out of all three of her lovers, Dea spoils Aulea the most with attention and affection. Admittedly, she just can’t help it.
“You know very well that I would love to,” Dea sighs fondly, leaning back in to claim yet another kiss– this time with a bit more passion and neediness present.
Without breaking contact, she moves her legs beneath her carefully, hands landing on Aulea’s shoulders and gently urging the other so that they both lay on their sides upon the bedsheets comfortably. Only once her lungs scream for air does the warrior pull back, just a tad, making sure to stay as close to Aulea as possible. “A while longer, yes,” a wistful, breathy sigh amidst pants. How she misses the feel of her friend’s body so close to hers. “Much, much longer, if I may ask for it…? Pakiusap.”
It was hearing her own acceptance, that she would love to do just as Aulea requested, that had her body shivering just a little. This was perfect, a great way to spend her time while tipsy and missing their men. She loved her time with them, but this? This was one of the best feelings in the world. She had been closer to Dea than she was with anyone else, and she rarely got to indulge in her touch, in her love and companionship.
She let her body be guided down onto the bed, the sheets curling around them lightly enough to feel like an extra hug. It was one of the many perks of growing up in the citadel. Aulea sucked in a deep breath as the kiss broke, her arm curling even more securely around Dea’s waist. She wanted to make sure the other woman wasn’t going to leave, though she doubted that she would. Not until she had to, and that wouldn’t be until the King and his Shield got back from their hunt. “As long as you wish, my dear. As long as we can stay in this bed, you can have whatever you wish.”
bitteroldmen:
“You are welcome, my dearest one.” He whispered softly, as their foreheads met. He closed his eyes for just a moment and it felt as if everything was okay. That everything was alright with the world, that nothing was going to touch them. No evil would slip into their heads, doubt filling their minds with a darkness that could only be described as ill intent. He licked his lips, and opened his eyes as she continued to speak. “I— I may have.” He confessed. He remembered when they were younger, stupid and in lust as their bodies in-tangled and their souls seemed to mend. Clarus swallowed. Things were different now. Not that he wasn’t happy about what they had. The four of them. Together? It— it gave Clarus a sense of purpose. That he belonged. “But your husband has a hell of a smirk, you must know this surely.”
It was the soft name, the voice speaking so closely she could feel his breath against her lips, that had Aulea letting out a gentle breath, her hands raising to rest on his shoulders. This was everything she had needed to calm down, and while it would have been so much better with Dea and Regis there with them, this was nice. Sometimes? Sometimes just having two people was perfect. Her eyes opened to look at Clarus as he spoke again, a soft chuckle leaving her lips. They were far from the kids they once were, and that was okay with her. Aulea wouldn’t go back for anything, go back to doubting and wanting, to wondering where her place was in her love’s life. Wondering if Regis would be more happy if it were just him and Clarus. Now she knew, and she was confident in where she was, in their positions and work in the citadel. “I do know the power of his smirk, but then again, you have your own charm. It’s in that innocent look of yours. You can fool people into anything, I am sure.”
