poor circulation in artists
Artists, office workers, gamers, and people who sit around a lot often have issues with poor circulation. Most of us don’t even know we have it, or know how bad it is for us. It can be really detrimental to an artists health and work, due to how it affects the mind, the hands, and the eyes. Along with doing hand stretches and warmups before, during, and after drawing for long periods of time, please keep this stuff in mind!
symptoms of poor blood circulation:
dark eye circles and eyesight problems, varicose veins, cramps, memory loss, headaches, dizzy spells, nausea, exhaustion, back and chest pain.
how to help your blood circulate better:
eating citrus fruits, nuts, watermelon, and dark chocolate; limiting salt and trans fat consumption; drinking green tea; utilizing peppers like cayenne, and herbs like ginger; reducing alcohol and tobacco consumption; doing cardio often; keeping your extremities warm when it’s cold; stretch and elevate your legs often; manage stress; drink plenty of water!
please take care of yourself!!
