At the moment me and a group of 3 other students design a wardrobe for a client.
This wardrobe need to be a piece of good customization because it need to fit perfectly under the stairs in the clients house.
The client want’s the design to keep the open spirit. But an the other hand the wardrobe needs to bee an eye catcher…
Apart from the design there are also things to discus, like what kind of wood and materials we’re goanna use. At the moment the shout out goo’s to mahogany, walnut or sheet material with veneer on top and bottom
All together this gives us enough to think about…;)
You hear from us soon

The elm wood is here! I'm so glad it came in today, I keep you informed about the things that are going to happen…
This is the final result of my stool!
The last month I worked very hard to get this one finally done.
When I was finished with gluing the parts together, I stared to scour the stool from top to bottom. Even the finest details, and the littlest hooks where scoured with fine sand paper.
This is very important for the finishing, because when you don’t, the wax (or something like lacquer) will not attach to the wood in a nice way.
It is also very important for the texture of the wood, cause you sand the last holes and pieces out of the wood.
When I was done with the scouring, I could wax the hole stool. I did this with hard wax oil, the good thing about hard wax oil is that it become very hard after applying a few layers of this. And that’s were it is deferent than just the oil.
But there is also one thing that is the same about the hard wax and the oil, and that is how beautiful it makes the wood look!
So this is the and result of my stool, I hope you like it, and see you next time.
