I’m obsessed with this

I’ve been plagued with dreams of people I used to know lately. Mostly people I haven’t seen in at least two or three years. Once I wake up the dreams are always very vague and blurry but I’m left with a new longing to reunite with the people. It seems to be mostly people who I feel I have unfinished business with or feelings that were never fully expressed. Old friends who have drifted away and I wish so desperately to have them in my life again.

i don’t like that forgetting is a thing that happens. like, this moment right here i will never have a movie-perfect recollection of…. and as time goes on im lucky if i remember it at all. everything is fleeting and memory changes everytime you recall it. i know it’s somewhat necessary to not be emotionally plagued by everything that has ever happened to you in your life but it makes me feel so unreal! idk
