💥Lesson No.1: You will have 2 types of rights in your copyright work. 💰Economic rights and 😇moral rights. Economic rights (the ones most commonly associated with copyright) are those rights dealing with the ownership, use and exploitation of your work covered by the copyright. Moral rights are the rights of the creator of the work (I assume in this example; this is you) to be identified as the creator, as well as to object to any derogatory treatment of the work, even if you as the creator of the work are not ultimately the owner of the work (e.g. if you created the work in the course of your employment). 💥Lesson No.2: The moral rights of the author/creator cannot be assigned and therefore the author/creator retains these rights and so you are entitled to recognition of authorship and to object to the manner in which the work is being used. 💥Lesson No.3: So never let anyone tell you that copyright protection is not worth the paper its written on. Copyright and moral rights form a powerful forcefield 🔐of protection around your creative work! #startup #ipass #london #techcity #shoreditch #googlecampus #angelinvestor #studentstartup #sanfrancisco #trademarks #copyright #design #siliconvalley #mentor #youngentrepreneur #startupaccelerator #rbs #entrepreneurialspark #berlin #amsterdam #barcelona #madrid #dublin #manchester #copenhagen #marrakeshtreaty
