The little shroud thing around the tip of my stylus broke out, the stylus still worked but the tip was floppy and annoying. So I took a mold of the socket and cast some plastic

I cut the white plastic so that it would fit into the missing area of the stylus, with the intention of gluing it, but instead I dropped the tiny piece of plastic and it's gone forever now.

I needed the stylus the next day and didn't have time to cast again. So I taped over the tip and put it back in the socket, then applied jb weld (metal epoxy) with a toothpick over the missing area. Forgot to get a pic of this part.

Then I put the stylus in my wood lathe and turned away the excess epoxy.

It works good now

So I recently finished my 13th Doctor cosplay and I thought that since it took *forever* to make her jacket's cutouts I might as well share them if anybody else wants to make this cosplay as well 👍 It took me about 1,5 months, but it was very fun to make.

(also I'm pretty sure you can modify the cutouts to make jackets for other Doctors as well)

After pouring liquid bronze you will often quench the flask to help remove the investment (the white moulding material), since the investment is several hundred degrees warm it basically explodes when it hits the water, which is better than trying to chip cold plaster off the bronze piece
