Kyle beamed and clapped Dick on the shoulder. “Okay, let’s go out to some empty space where you can swing purple light around without worrying about hitting anything. You got the hang of interstellar flight yet?”

Dick shifted under the sudden weight, still not quite used to just floating around.

“For the most part. I managed to get out here with only a little help from Carol.” He shrugged, grinning. “It’s not like these rings are hard to use. You Lanterns have all been lying to us for years.”

The concert last night was pretty good, even if I ended up exhausted when I got home. Work’s been fairly stressful, not because of work itself (which remains great), but because of a really frustrating project we got saddled with (the current joke is that it’s hazing lol).

I’ll be poking around my Hal Jordan blog (mostdangerouslantern) for a little bit tonight, if anyone wants me.

Kyle’s jaw dropped. “Wait, Nightwing? Seriously?! No. Way.”

The White Lantern floated around Dick, getting a good look at him from every angle. “You’re really him, aren’t you? The Nightwing! Oh my God, it’s an honor to be meeting you!”
