HIGH ON LIFE 2 SPOILERS (#talking about BH trauma)

will we perchance address the fact that BH:

1) became the most wanted terrorist ever + probs the most expensive bounty too

2) lowkey stabbed themselves in the face and lost a lot of blood and now likely has scars all over it? aint gonna talk how they could've lost an eye or smth

3) got BOTH of their arms cut off (wtf) (+blood lose again, they didn't even do anything to this open wounds when the first arm was gone)

4) got forcibly drugged three times and way out of safe dosage too (or 6 times if you count first game too)

5) got injected their own rotting* flesh and became freaky monster (im not gonna rent about how its kinda makes zero sense cus cannibalism exist and blood transference too, when i was watching this scene i really thought that nothing gonna happen and it would be a joke)

* - im pretty sure their hands wont be fresh after sitting somewhere in nipulons (whatever his names is spelled) coat or where did he kept that anyway

6) got hit by RV twice (thanks gene)

7) where so disconnected with the rest of family that they lowkenuinely didn't know they had HALF BROTHER (what???)

8) DIDNT KNOW THAT their sister got down with harper AND a robot (whose name i cant remember)

they need to idk chill, go to a vacation (but without travis and they need to do smth HEALTHY please)

I’m deeply thinking about Gene Zaroothian, and how he lowkey forced BH into a celebrity/hero lifestyle and doesn’t realise the extent of how damaging it ends up being until it’s too late. He lived out the last of his fame through them, even if it was as a hanger-on. I think he feels awful about it.

He obviously tries to reduce the damage done by consistently attempting to cheer them up or even give them outs. ‘If you don’t wanna do it, we don’t have to do it’. And suggesting they all leave the museum for a bit to go eat together as a family!

Like he literally overhears BH listening to the Jimmy Jimmy show about ‘what’s next for BH?’ Followed by them immediately turning the TV off, and his first thought is to suggest spending time together. (Gene’s room is literally feet away, and on a call minutes later Gene confirms if they were watching TV earlier. He was LISTENING!!! HE PAYS ATTENTION!!!)

And then later in the game, knowing how much is on BH’s shoulders, he’s trying to lessen it CONSTANTLY even if he’s sometimes really badat it.

Like suggesting that SOMEONE deal with Gwendolyn, rather than immediately suggest BH to get back into another fight.

How defensive he gets with Lizzie over BH, ‘they know that already Lizzie! You don’t have to spell it out all the time for them!’

‘Maybe we were always meant to be criminals!’ ‘This is for the best!’

(And I seriously believe he means that, even if he misses the limelight.)

How he genuinely tries giving BH small things to enjoy throughout the missions, even suggesting they go and watch for Gessie breaching! (A line you can get waiting during pinkstocks mission long enough)

And, the biggest thing to me, is how much Gene involves himself this game. He is ALWAYS available to pick you up, even if he’s annoyed. Even during a mission!! (I’ve tested this and he comes no matter what)

And then at the end, being the reason BH even reaches court to begin with?! This fucker put HIMSELF ON THE LINE by literally crashing what’s left of any of his fame DIRECTLY INTO THE REA PHARMACEUTICAL BUILDING. Not to mention saving us a boss fight by doing so!!

AND HIS OUTRAGE AT NIPULON FOR HURTING BH!! GOD!!! Gene fucked up SO much but he’s genuinely trying so so so hard for BH it makes me SICK

let me take a peek into bounty hunter's brain squanch games... let me see how the events of the first and second game have affected them from a deep emotional standpoint and altered the way they see themselves

let me Know if they've ever gotten a chance to take a breather and just reflect on everything or if they just leo rise of the tmnt it and make jokes to themselves to cope with it (that no one ever hears because they're mute) let me know if they've spent quiet nights in the house when lizzie was gone just thinking about the life they'll never get to have

how many more people die the more they sit around and contemplate everything. always gotta be active, always gotta save them. can't have even an hour to unpack anything. that's only viable when the world's been saved, but they almost die to get there several times.

if you don't do anything to save humans as soon as you have the chance, are you even worth calling yourself one?

wanted to join the bounty hunter oc/self insert train lalala....... also to finally have an excuse to somewhat nail down a design (if simplified) for BH

i like how much BH's fit in HoL2 looks like an axolotl so i have cursed the first suit with this influence too! however in wing form because that's a fun jetpack idea and paired with their helmet makes them look like a sea angel (and weren't they like. functionally an angel for the human race?) (you understand you see where i'm going right)

both animals honestly look "alien" as well. so i think that's fun. and also harper kinda. girl you just an axolotl gun

if any colors bleed into each other out of their lines No They Didn't. you didn't see that

letting them have an ethan winters situation.... aka umm yeah i am not giving them a real human face <3 YAY (i couldn't cook up any that i liked anyways)
