I just wanted to see what Stranger Things would look like in a retro 80s anime aesthetic but now the anime has infected every aspect of my art like it did back in highschool and I have many regrets.

30 ish year old Steve in the late 90ā²s, he is a coffee and blunt after a heavy shift kinda guy. So much of this is a disaster but i donāt think i care anymore. Just... pretend the shoes donāt exist. Writing going well, drawing going okay, but life is not going so well so it is all slowing down a bit. Urg. I guess I am mostly drawn to the polar opposites of these two, especially as they get older and explore their individual identities. Deep underneath it all they have a lotĀ in common, itās just figuring that out will take them time. And a few more fights.
Yes the coffee cup is tiny but i cannot bring myself to spend another minute on it oh god.Ā
Billy Hargrove as he will appear in my fic-in-progress. Itās aroundĀ ā95 making these guys around 28 -30yrs old, and here is a small section from the now completed first chapter.
"Okay, okay, I get it. Right, on my way." Steve interrupted. Shit, shit, shit. It seemed that karma had come to punish him for his borderline sadistic shift planning. His mouth went dry and Steve cursed under his breath, furious at himself for acting like a coward. He hated Billy. Straight up loathed the guy. Arrogant piece of shit that walked around like he owned the place. It had been years, almost a decade, since the days he fought with Hargrove, the last fight almost landing Steve on a stretcher, but somehow the memory still burned bright. He wondered for a moment if any of the kids used to get this scared when encountering their bullies but he banished the thought angrily, disgusted with himself as this meant once again acknowledging he was scared of Billy after all this damn time. "Fucking man up Steve, man the fuck up, nothing is gonna happen. Stop being such a pussy." He muttered aloud, gripping the mop hard and marching over to Lane 17.
Billy was sprawled across the sofas of Lane 17, shoulders back, legs spread. Steve couldn't tell if his positioning was intentional, but it was almost impossible for him to take his eyes off of Billy, the UV making his white jacket literally glow. Fucking peacock, Steve thought to himself shrugging off some residual envy lurking at the back of his brain. How did Billy somehow get more... flamboyant than before? What planet does this guy live on? Steve kept his eyes on him, and noticed how his hair, considerably longer now, tumbled over his shoulders and down his back as he teased a girl by trying to pull her top down. The girl didn't seem to mind, infact she bizarrely kept pushing her breasts further towards his face, which seemed to make him angry. If Steve didn't know any better, he could have sworn Billy was disgusted by the girl judging by the curl of his upper lip, but he watched as Hargrove expertly replaced his initial reaction with a smiling, drunk dismissal. The girl, top almost falling off now, rebounded onto another asshole pretty quickly and Steve watched as Billy flicked his cigarette butt onto the floor.
He was surrounded by people; ācoolā people, the kind of people who listened to Guns and Roses whilst opening beer cans with their teeth, all clad in denim and draped in studs, chains and a flash of color. Billy however stole the show from right under the noses of his fellow circus acts. He wore a red shirt underneath the seemingly glowing white jacket that framed his chest perfectly, and Steve found it almost impossible to look away. What did he do for a living? Work out? Does he get paid to work out or something?
Only just managed to get my tablet set up again, rusty af but *sighs*. Now i have to complete Steves full character design and get chap 2 and 3 done. This is gonna be a long one *internal screaming* IĀ kinda... rage quit around the hands, because fuck hands. Also, wtf tumblr why is this blurry?
Have another WIP, this time of some proper fluffyness. Just ya boys having a lazy, sunday sofa cuddle after a heavy session the night before. Fudge is jealous as he is getting zero of the attention, as Billy is a bigger dam cat than he is.
Hey all! sorry for my inactivity, I am working through the first 2/3 chapters of this fic. It has been betaād by Tink who approves, just gotta get it to a point i feel comfortable uploading to AO3. This is gonna be one hell of a ride getting these character arcs nailed.Ā
Trying to get used to inkpens again but I am very rusty and exhausted, so i am sorry for crunchy lines. Itās very small (0.1 nib) which probably also doesnāt help. *lies on the ground*
I have spent ages working on this drawing oh my days *holds head*. More ideas and stuff for the fic i am intending to write. Premise as mentioned before is these two in late 20ā²s, in a BDSM relationship where Steve is a sadist and Billy is a masochist. Steve is management at the bowling alley having gotten sick to death of his dads workplace, so he has money to throw around on kit for punishing his man! Bizarrely enough i really liked designing his work shirt, infact i just enjoyed this entire thing, and I hope you guys like it too!

āSo I was thinking, Saturdays shift, if I put Tom on at 5pm and Becky on at 6 we might get through oā¦ā Steve was interrupted by muffled choking sound, and he furrowed his brow, pausing to let Billy get it out of his system before continuing. ā...We might get through okay. I may have to take front of house for a few hours to relieve one of them but if I have worked this out right, we should be able to cover Katies absence during the rush. I am unsure what to do after 9, maybe if Iā¦ā Billy stumbled and thudded into Steves leg, grunting loudly as the chains pulled on his nipple piercings. 3 heavy padlocks weighing them down, the strain making Billys legs buckle from beneath him. He was trying to curse but the spreader gag was making that near impossible. He was sweating now, sweating and trembling, scowling up at Steve with dagger eyes.
Steve grinned, fondled the keys to the locks hanging around his neck and clipped him around the back of the head with his rota, forcing Billy to double over more. His eyes were watering and Steve watched him as he fumbled for some form of support to hold himself up on. Billy grabbed onto Steves leg, almost falling over but in one swift motion Steve gripped Billys hand, forcing his arm to straighten out and the padlocks to hang straight down. āYouāre dribbling on the floor, the more noise you try and make, the more mess you have to clean up after.ā He said, feigning irritation and returning back to his rota. He was doing his best not to laugh. Billy was rock hard and Steve had to do his damndest to not stare at the muscles flexing and tensing across his back.
There was a knock on the back office door and Billy flinched like a child caught stealing candy. Something he immediately regretted as the weights tugged on his peircings. Steve talked over the muffled, dribbly cursing that followed āI will be out in a minute, just getting my shit together. Give me 5 minutes?ā he yelled at whoever was standing outside, all the while pulling Billys hand back on itself. There was a polite āsure thing Steve, take your timeā and Steve paused for a moment till he knew they were out of earshot.
āWell,ā he said with a sigh, āI guess times up.ā He looked down at the shaking, sweating man still struggling to find his feet. āYou can finish up now, you have 5 minutes to cum, get changed and get out of here you hear?ā Steve said curtly. Billy looked up at him and snarled in disgust but his hand was already gripping his cock. He avoided moving though because he knew it would cause more pain from the weights. āYouāre looking at 4 minutes Hargrove. In 4 minutes I will kick you out of here butt naked if I have to.ā He wasnāt being sincere but the pressure always worked. He held Billys hand tight and watched him with a warm yet cruel smile as he picked up pace.
Drool was dripping down his chin through his gritted teeth. Steve loved this gag, it reduced Billy to a feral animal. ā3 minutes Billy, 3 minutesā. Billy closed his eyes tight, nostrils flared, head down. His cheeks were flushed bright red but goddamnit he was going for it. Steve felt pride well up in his chest as he heard his charge rasp and gasp beneath him. And then it was over, Billy shuddered and collapsed to the floor. Steve released his hand and immediately went to get the keys and unlock each one. He sat on the floor stroking Billys hair for a moment, looking at him affectionately and he panted, still drooling, desperately trying to wipe his sticky hand on his shirt. Steve unclasped the gag so Billy could move his jaw, which was met with āfucking hellā¦ fucking hell Steveā¦ Whatā¦ What the fuck has gotten into you?ā. Steve almost burst out laughing as he perched Billy against a chair and ran around trying to find his clothes. He watched Billy try to detach the chain from his piercings āNo, that stays on until i get home.ā. Billy paused, but eyes rolling did as he was told, grabbing the shirt Steve handed him and putting it on. He grimaced as he felt the stickiness on his stomach, āfor fucks sake, you really have to get some tissues or somethingā¦ fucking gross.ā Steve was still grinning ear to ear, extending an arm to help Billy stand, letting him lean on him to put his trousers on. There was another knock on the door.
āJust Ā a minute!ā Steve yelled, not turning from Billy who was still blushing like crazy, looking at the floor. Steve lifted his chin up to face him and kissed him deeply, holding him close. āYou did so wellā¦ā he whispered to him gently, and he swore for a moment he saw a smile lick its way across Billys lips. āI am sorry I have to rush now, go get a drink at the bar and take it slow.ā He knew Billy wouldnāt, he wasnāt the āself careā type, but Steve would always worry.
āWhat time are you finishing today?ā Billy mumbled, his hand lingering in Steves for a moment.
ā8 I think? But I will try and get off early. Get a pizza or something, justā¦ chill okay? And do not take off that chain, I am gonna need it later.ā.
āYeah, yeah, yeah, whatever.ā Billy said, and shyly leaned to steal another kiss before grabbing his jacket and leaving the office, dodging some kid running around chasing a rogue bowling ball. He grinned as soon as his back was turned. This pizza was gonna have pineapple on it, and he bit his lip, trying to picture Steves wounded face as he picked through the toppings. Pineapple for sure.
Breadcrumbs and a WIP for some rubbish because I have become majorly addicted to the harrowing kidnapping of the pregnant seahorse boy, and some deep sea beasties need punishing. It is rough around the edges as it is a pencil sketch and spent most of my time drawing on the train, but planning and scheming to ink this up after refining and planning a few other panels, as well as a full body of my presently unnamed cephalopod guy.

WIP for another panel where this octodude has freed the pregnant seahorse boy to steal the larger snacks for himself. Presently Xero (owned and created by @voreyeurism) is in a whole heap of trouble. My plan is to have panels of the toothy one trying to bribe his way to safety by giving away the seahorse boy, but cephalopod guy is uninterested bcz what is a huge beast like him gonna do with such a small helpless thing? He frees seahorse kid, and Xero is all, get the fuck off me but also dont? TBH its not like he can speak too well at this point, but i want him to try and be like āeat theā¦ stripey guyā¦he is a meatier mealā¦ā at which point my beastie will be likeĀ āwho this guy?ā and present Aiden (owned and created by @virulent-forma) in an equally panicky predicament. Depending on how much energy I have, this is the kinda sadist that would bind the two together and make them get it off.Ā

I mean I would point out the octopus this guy is based on is incredibly poisonous (shout out to my blue ringed boysss), so if Aiden did go for a bite he is gonna end up sicksicksick, but maybe he is resistent by the power of being swol? Or possibly he has some resistance that my guy is gonna be shook by, looking at Aiden like "that... usually works, you should be at least vomitting by now... oh shit, definately alive and kicking, fuckers teeth are sharp.". Maybe that's how he gets him, by playing my guys ego and catching him off guard?
All that keeps going through my head is the David Attenborough Blue Planet food chain carnage specials, it's a free for all in the ocean dude, savage times. Just... this time with interspecies, underwater, battle orgies XD
