Son of Zeus, god of gods and sky
At first, i was thinking Apollo for Chan, but the more i thought about it, the more Zeus fit. Chanâs personality is far from his fathers, but that doesnât mean its hard to tell heâs the son of Zeus. While he does live a simple and quiet or as quiet as it can get with the eight other boys, his presence alone is enough to gain the eyes of passing people. Chanâs well respected and well know by everyone in camp, and has literally always been there. for as powerful as he is, it rarely ever uses it. mess with his boys however, and youâve got a storm coming your way, quite literally. While Chan is usually a walking fluff ball, donât forget he has connections in high places, so give him any serious issues and youâre dead.
Son of Apollo, god of sun, light, music and prophecy
No one was shocked in the slightest when Apollo claimed him, even when woojin had only been in the camp for a day. heâs the definition of a child of Apollo. from looks to skill to personality, woojin meets it all. his voice seriously holds some magical power to lift the mood and calm everyone down. usually helps out at the big house with all the injuries that happen throughout the day, because gods do they get a lot of injured kids. lives up to the whole sunshine thing, actually people around camp joke that when woojin smiles, he just turns into the actual sun. probably one of the most loved and admired apollo kids in camp, and even woojins fellow apollo siblings agree. literally everyone loves woojin so much its amazing, who wouldnât love a walking ball of sunshine though?
Son of Poseidon, god of the sea, earthquakes and horses
took weeks for poor Minho to get claimed. Low-key caught the whole camp off guard too, but the more they got to know him, the more the whole Poseidon thing made sense. He was always super moody, and his moods changed as quickly as the tides, which was fitting. Minho really doesnât even know how powerful he is, so the rest of the camp is just as clueless. lets just say though, that the more angry Minho gets, the more powerful he becomes, so sometimes its like walking on eggshells around him. No one really knows whatâs going to happen when he full on looses it. always takes swims in lake. if you canât find Minho, heâll be by the lake no doubt. his fear of heights usually has him sticking as close to the ground as possible, so often he just chills in a little bubble at the bottom of the lake, chilling with some of the fish. Ended up bonding really fast with Chan because theyâre both children of the big three and are all alone in their cabins. most of the time, however, chan and minho either crash at each others cabins or someone else cabin because they hate being alone like that.
Son of Persephone, goddess of spring, queen of the underworldÂ
I donât care what anyone else says, changbin is without a doubt the child of Persephone. when he first arrived in camp, everyone was convinced changbin was the child of hades and when they found out it was his mother who was his godly parents, they swore it would be Nyx. when in fact Persephone claimed him, everyone was speechless. while persephone is the goddess of spring, she is still the queen of the underworld, and that part shown through very well in changbin. the more time he spent in camp however, the more people realized just how not dark he actually was. the amounts of times campers have found him talking to the strawberries in the strawberry patch, making sure they grow big and juice were to many to count. his cute, springish side his mother was so well known for was peaking through slowly but surely, and even he couldnât deny it. he ended up being one of the softest people in the whole camp, and if anyone ever had any problems, changbin was the guy to go to, that is, if you could make it past his cold stare at first. literally has so many little potted plant on the windowsill by his bed, and is always hanging out with the Demeter kids to learn more plant stuff. he perfectly reflected his mother, coming off as both dark and light at the same time.
Son of Demeter, goddess of earth and agriculture
Everyone thought for sure Hyunjin was the son of Aphrodite when he arrived to camp, but when they realized he wasnât as flamboyant as the other Aphrodite kids, and was quite clueless when it came to love, people quickly put together he wouldnât be an Aphrodite kid. When Demeter claimed Hyunjin everyone started to see just how clearly he resembled his godly parent. Apart from being one of the nicest, gentle kids in the camp, his âmotheringâ habits mimicked that of demeters. Heâs always checking up on the boys, and can somehow tell when someone needs help, sometimes even before they themselves realize it. literally his ability to garden is so intense that even Chiron was speechless when he saw how much fruit Hyunjinâs few plants had produced. Â has without a doubt stolen almost everyones heart at camp, and being so quiet and polite only gained more people fawning over him. Donât let that full you however, because Hyunjin is one of the best swordsmen in camp. watch out if you mess with any of his plants, whether its the strawberry bushes or the little potted plants he keeps in his cabin, if anything happens to them, youâre in trouble.
Son of Hecate, goddess of magic, sorcery, and trivial knowledge
Jisung was claimed almost right away when he entered camp half blood, people assumed it was because Hecate was proud of him, they figured Jisung was going to be some magic wielding hero. And while they werenât wrong, jisung wasnât quite as respectable as the campers thought he would be. The majority of the time, Jisung was using his magic abilities to pull pranks on other people. Chiron said heâd never met anyone who could manipulate the mist so well and easily as Jisung did. If he focused enough, Jisung could make whole buildings disappear with the mist, and sometimes it was so strong even half bloods could barely see it. When he gets serious in a battle, youâre pretty much done for. think of any magical trick possible, and jisung can do it. most of the campers donât like to fight against him because heâs so good at using his magic its almost like cheating. bless the team that gets hecate cabin for capture the flag. But the majority of the time, Jisung just pulls pranks. every camper has fallen victim to a prank of his at least once. Jisung has a familiar thats a little squirrel that he names Han i will go down with this statement. Little Han follows him all around camp and is honestly the light of Jisungs life. Jisung is that kid at camp that looks like he wouldnât be that big of a threat, but actually turns out to be the biggest threat of them all if he gets serious enough.
Son of Hermes, god of trade, language, and travel
Literally the carbine copy of his father when it comes to being a troublemaker. Most of the time he teams up with Jisung and they pull some elaborate prank their poor unsuspecting friends. Felix somehow managed to become the most admired person in all of Hermes cabin, both unclaimed campers and claimed that all smushed into the small cabin. Honestly felix is loved by all the campers, but his troublemaking can get out of hands at times. good thing heâs well liked otherwise thereâd be some serious issues. not much of a swordsmen, but have him use his brain to come up with some kind of plan of attack, and he could put both athena and Hephaestus to shame, and also manage to make the whole thing fun. Also surprisingly good at hand to hand combat. He can and does befriend literally everyone and everything and the boys often joke that felix would befriend a monster if he could.
Son of Athena, goddess of wisdom, courage and justice
Apart from lacking the typical features of athenaâs kids, Seungmin is without a doubt the child of athena. not only is he just straight up book smart, but seungmin is smart in every aspect of his life. quite possibly could be the smartest of Athenaâs children. literally heard a language for only a small amount of time, read a few books on said language and could speak it fluently in no time. seriously can solve any of your issues, and even the Hephaestus kids come to him with questions when theyâre building things. the fact that heâs almost always calm and collected only makes him that much more impressive. not the best when it comes to combat, but also doesnât have to bad of a shot with a bow. spends a lot of time with woojin, nothing practicing archery and singing. sometimes woojin joked that seungmin might have been claimed wrong and was just a really smart apollo child, because even some of the apollo kids are jealous of seungmins beautiful voice.
Son of Hebe, goddess of youthÂ
Came to the camp looking like a baby, treated as the camps baby, then was claimed by the goddess of youth. not exactly what jeongin had wanted, but life goes on. literally looked like a walking fetus for so long, but when he finally had his glow up, dang he looked good. it seemingly happened over night as well. his mom had to have something to do with it for sure, because even though he didnât look like an infant anymore, he still radiated youth. has completely gotten used to being chanâs son, and finally accepted his fate of constantly being mother by hyunjin, but in a way he appreciates both of them, and all of the other boys for that matter. literally lives to hear his friends laugh. he loves nothing more than to make the members happy. when theyâre happy, heâs happy. has little sleepovers in the boys cabin because most of the time hebeâs cabin is empty and he doesnât like to be alone. somehow the whole âeternal youthâ thing that his mom gave him also meant recovering from injuries a lot faster than the average person. not the best at fighting, but as time passes the better he gets in both sword-fighting and archery. Â soon the little child of hebe is going to be one of the most influential campers around, but for now, heâs content being the youngest of the friend group and happy when his friends are happy.
