I literally imagine it like someone has a gaping hole in their arm and instead of letting it breathe and giving it time to heal or seeking medical care to find the right remedy or treatment, they tried stitching it up themselves with pink, blue, and yellow twine that splinters deeper further into the skin with every tug. Pulling the wound, shaping it, transforming it into that of a smile. With yellow buttons for eyes. But hey! At least it’s pretty now, right?
