The Crown Point High School varsity dance team did something out of the ordinary this year. Unlike their usual upbeat performance routines this year they decided to take a different route. They dedicate this routine to all of the soldiers and their families who know what it feels like to miss a loved one or to even know the pure happiness of them finally coming home. These are just some of the many emotional pictures captured throughout the routine. I had no idea how much I needed this until I listened to it. I listened to it three times before I reblogged it. I recently have been struggling in school and I didn’t get a part in the play I auditioned for, and my main escape has been my fandoms-mainly Doctor Who. So this….this just made me feel amazing.

Because as I listened to it, I closed my eyes and imagined the two of us sitting in the TARDIS, with the Doctor reading my writing. My poems, my stories, my characters, everything. And then he says these things as he reads. It just….it made me feel so much better, and I didn’t even know I was feeling sad.

I guess it’s also partly because I’ve been feeling like my writing isn’t very good lately. In RPing, in English class, in my fanfiction, and in my other creative writing stories and poems. I feel like they’ve been getting worse and worse lately, and imagining him, the Doctor, my muse, my hero, reading my writing and complimenting me on it, it just….it made me feel really special. And now I’m crying. And that’s good, I guess.
