Made me think of ElfQuest, which I *devoured* in JrHigh. (My friend Inga had the entire bound volume set and we read them obsessively.) Since the series was written maybe 20+ years ago I’m sure, looking back, that there is some imperfect/problematic writing in there (as there often is when I revisit things) but there is an attempt at racial diversity, plus there are wolves and adventure and lots of sexy elf sex. Also, the artwork is quite beautiful.
