I have over 7k followers here now, which is not that much in the grand scheme of things, but I gained 2k followers two years after I’ve last produced what I’m known for: comics about trauma lol. That’s not how I process anymore. I was a different person then. I’m at a different stage of my life. When I post here, I feel as if I’m holding on to a part of my life that has passed.

I won’t abandon this tumblr completely or anything, but I’ll mostly be posting on my public twitter account: https://twitter.com/arielle_dela. The twitter will mostly be local community issues and politics, but I’ll post doodles sometimes I guess.

Thank you so much to everyone who has ever supported me, liked my art, reblogged my art, whatever. I use art as a means to relax, I’ve used art as a means to cope – it means so much to me that my work reached anyone at all. Y’all are the real MVPs.

hello Ari! this is a super random question but I am trying to find something - I think that through one of your reblogs, I found the link to a choose-your-own-adventure game about experiencing gender dysphoria. if that rings a bell, do you happen to remember what the game was called or what its link was? I would really love to share it with my students. thank you:)

I think you’re speaking of early onset dysphoria. The only other game I’ve blogged about was QUEER TRANS MENTALLY ILL POWER FANTASY.

Hey guys, I am trying to attend the Gender Infinity Conference next month. The Gender Infinity Conference is an affirming space for families, learners, advocates, and providers to advance relationships, knowledge, and resources that empower gender diverse individuals. Because I am also trying to get CEUs, it is quite expensive & advocates don’t make that much lol. I have some zines that are pay what you want if you want to help a nonbinary advocate go to a conference about gender!!

The physical copy of this was done in a journal created by @nida_theartist on instragram.

There are no “hard” trigger warnings for this, but a lot of the negative thoughts esp re: attachment in this are pretty reflective of complex-post traumatic stress disorder, which may be upsetting for some people. I believe I drew all this back in 2016.
