Wide Open Spaces || Fafabray
Charlie had been tense these past few months, being pregnant was not fun, especially when she felt so cramped and confined. They had told her and Quinn that they were being moved and Charlie wasnât really happy about it. However, as the door slid open her ears perked up as her lungs filled with fresh air and the smell of the grass had her grinning for the first time in a few weeks. She heard Quinn ask and she just stalked forward on all fours, through the door and into what appeared to be a forest. Her claws dug into the dirt beneath her and she took off at a half-sprint. She found a patch of sun warned grass and stopped, collapsing into it. She giggled like a little girl as she felt the sun begin to warn her fur. âThis is awesome! Quinn! Itâs so warm!â
Quinn waited to see if Charlie gave the okay before following out to meet with her. She saw the wide open space with forests, mountains and that single house in the distance by a lake of some kind. It was confusing, were they outside, could they get out? Quinn took a look, squinting her eyes and saw the metal walls in the distance. They had a limit but at least it was wide open space. Once they were both inside the space, the small door closed behind them. âIs this some sick joke?â She asked to the think air, looking up at the night sky. It had been so long since she saw sky she felt like she was about to cry. âNo joke, this is your new home until the babies are born. after that we will want to make sure they grow well. You will of course be able to move back and forth. but the babies or baby will be staying inside the sterile room.â
