@intj-truths
I picked this sword up at a local thrift store and would love to know more about it. So far all I know is:
1) It’s a sword
2) It was made in Spain
If anyone has any other insights to offer, please share with the class!!!!
Question: are there any stories that you would like to see written?
This is an intentionally broad question, but please be as specific with your answer as you’d like. Is there specific representation you’d like to see in a specific genre or trope? And there specific tropes that you’d lie to see subverted? Is there a particular character you’d like to see in a specific setting? Is there a certain topic you’d like to see addressed in fiction? A story you’d like retold in a different way? Etc, etc.
Back after a long hiatus to ask a very specific question: who read the Inheritance Games trilogy and loved the first two books and felt like the third one was a major let down? Or is it just me 😅
Ok guys- I need some audiobook recommendations. Give me your best.
Literary history that happened on 25 May
Y’all ever wish your only responsibility was taking care of a small vegetable garden
Ok y’all been listening to Taylor Swift’s new album and I *knew* champagne problems sounded really familiar.... if anyone is interested, take a listen to the beginning of Small House by Michelle Featherstone (from 2011) and tell me that I’m wrong.

Anyone ever organized a successful grad student strike?
Asking for a friend
anyway, my older sister was adopted when she was almost 16 (kinda on accident too), and because of that she got away from an abusive household, went from barely passing classes to being an honour student, and launching into a career where she’s happy and healthy and paying her own way. just two years of parenting where she had 3 meals a day, a bedtime, and parents to help and protect her changed her life radically. Plus, i got an older sister
adopt teenagers.
As an adopted kid I support this message
people who say things like “oh you only have a few years with them” need to remember that these are human beings not a used car. every human being deserves a support system, a jumping off block, a safe place to return
and also, they don’t magically disappear after they turn 18? You can love and support and live with your kid even after they turn 18???
I support this message as a fellow adopted kid :) and all my children will be adopted too!!!
This came up on my dash the day after I was looking into adopting older children (although still several years out of being ready for that kind of commitment lol) but it is 100% something I want to do.
Oh my god this is so on point
I feel CALLED OUT
To my menstruating friends
Have any of you tried thinxs? Did you like them? Are they worth the money? Like they seem pricey but if they actually work well then like money well spent 😂

Found a bunch of spiders in my basement and made a deal with them that I would release them into the wild at the end of the week instead of killing them as long as they aided me in my war against the crickets
Spiders helped me out, found a cricket outside the spider nest today.
Current count is me: 5, crickets: 0.
Only the quiet one is left. Victory is near. Now just gotta find all the spiders to relocate them to the backyard.
For anyone following the cricket wars: I am triumphant. My basement is quiet. Three of four of my spider comrades have been relocated to the garden. Fourth one is pouting and won’t come out from under the base boards. He’ll be evicted (gently) tomorrow.
Now just gotta make sure all the mice have been properly evicted and I can RECLAIM THE BASEMENT GOODBYE NATURE PLEASE STAY OUT OF DOORS FROM NOW ON THANK YOU
