WIP of my favourite dead space bat. Would you guys want to see this in colour or is black and white better?
I wish I could do good linework. I think I might try to see if I can get an intramental game to have hand drawn traditional art graphics.

I’m thinking a 2D platformer, standard stuff. The most major mechanic that the other mechanics are built around is that your character has momentum because its a fat rolling cat. The levels are designed a little like classic sonic levels. If played correctly, you can reach the end while having been at terminal velocity the whole time. The currency is bananas and the enemies are protein shakes. These protein shakes can be absorbed into your cat, but only from the sides. If you absorb the protein shake from the top accidentally, you will drink it and lose mass, making the level take longer. The only way to die is to lose all your mass, which is pretty hard to do, so the game is almost atmospheric with the main goal being to complete the levels as quickly as possible. Boss fights are a possibility, but idk how to make interesting boss fights that are also as easy as the rest of the game. The protein shakes can rotate and shoot some of their shake at you, with limited accuracy. They can be defeated by letting the glasses run empty on shake, but that means avoiding the shake blasts for an extended period of time.
Feel free to take this idea and revise it and send it back to my for serious consideration by Intramental studios.

Dumpster Days! A visual novel. We are currently working on our side project, insectoid_descent, but expect more on dumpster days once that project is finished up. Quick WIP synopsis:
After a Second Great Depression caused by massive robotic automation in most industries, the lack of money causes tension in the growing poor community. People turn to each other and form gangs that steal to survive. The government has lost control of some areas in the Detroit Metro and gangs moved in to take their place. As the gangs grow they fight each other politically, and even violently for control. A group of people came to together to protect the vulnerable from the dangers of these gangs in a mock-school. As it grew, more than just kids turned to this community for support.
A rebellion, by me: I can’t just ask the other devs to redo this entire thing, but I think they should. I hate it. It’s supposed to be incredibly american, like Neil Gaiman’s American Gods, but it ends up being so exaggerated it feels closer to satire than a romanticized america. Also, the dialogue is insincere and cliche. This will be worked out later. Pay no attention to me. I’m sure that my opinions will be resolved somehow, whether that’s removing me and my opinions entirely or not.
