I do love these kinds of anon blogs, but all of the introject culture blogs I found were either pro endo, endo neut, abandoned, or didn't have a clear stance, so I went on ahead to make my very own!

question!!!

we would love some help in this matter: how can we help alleviate or deal with trauma source? some introjects split recently and we are kinda lost since they are heavily attached to their story, to the point of not being comfortable even with food (since their culture is not the same as the body's) thank you in advance!!

For us, when we have people who struggle that way, the best thing we can do is try to encourage them to distance from source and ground their identity in things unrelated to their source

We also encourage the alters to speak to our therapist about their feelings If anyone else has any help, feel free to add in the notes!

Introjection culture is being an oc introject and not having any idea of how to even bring it up (some of our friends literally know of my source and apparently no one in our system expected i would end up being split because of how many years they've been working on writing or hyperfixiating on my source. aaaaaaa)

Also. Special mention to also include those who are introjects of someone else's oc. Someone that they know personally and if they revealed themselves the creator would know instantly. We have like a few alters like this in our system. I feel for them and i also believe it's a similar kind of struggle (? We're in this together aaauaghahshrhehagrahahahahgrh let's go oc introjects woooooooooo aaahh I'm too scared to even show my face to our friends

Introjection culture is being frustrated by your fluctuating attachment to your source... Like no I don't believe I am her, or anything like that, I don't behave super like her, just some similarities i suppose, but when watching my source or fan content of my source, I get affected as if people from my source really are my friends/coworkers/etc. As if I do/did have the connection with those people. And I don't like how inconsistent it is 💔

I've heard it's possible for introjects to change their source?

Is it possible for everyone??

I suppose it depends? We have certain alters who we’re pretty sure can’t, specifically ones that are already fully formed and attached to one specific source for a specific reason. But for fragments, I think it’s somewhat possible for them to change or pick up new sources, since their identity is inherently a lot more unstable than fully fledged alters’ are.

This is a blog for all ages, and while I am an adult, I cannot be sure of the age of anonymous askers. Therefore, due to the intended audience being a mixed-age one— and due to how irresponsible it would be of me to interact with people I can’t verify the age of sexually even if this was an 18+ blog— I will not answer asks that are sexual in nature.

oddly specific introjection culture is when your source or source creator has been accused of something horrific, proven innocent, but people still believe they're at fault and now you have to be "oh yeah I'm X introject but i don't support them/the creator ahah" when you still love them

I'm sorry that the host latched onto a certain antagonist from a certain videogame for comfort at the difficult time in his life, but WHY DO I HAVE TO SUFFER NOW?!
