I Am Vision @introspectral - Tumblr Blog

This is a side blog, so follows will be from @fallxnprxnce. {{ Mun is 40+ || 20+ only please! || Minors DNI! }}

I have a weekly schedule (see below) to divide activity for all my currently active RP blogs. Outside of a few exceptions if I get inspiration for something, I will only be posting for blogs on their scheduled days. You can send me asks, memes, and reply to threads on off days, but I may wait to respond until that blog is scheduled. Note: I'm a night owl, so most of my writing is done between 9PM and 5AM (EST).

INFORMATION ABOUT THE MUSE: My White Vision is canon divergent in that he includes some headcanons (particularly about abilities, anatomy, and how his emotions and memories are handled) that were not canon in the MCU. Please see this directory post if you would like to read more about White Vision and how I write him. Available rp verses can be found here!

What is something you wish White Vision understood?

{out of directives} That whether he decides he wants to continue the life and be the identity contained within all those memories he's been able to recover in his databanks, or he wants to begin a new life and make a clean break from the one in his memories... that's valid and okay. It's up to him to decide whether he feels emotionally connected to those memories and whether that identity feels right to him, or whether it no longer does feel right or comfortable. Only he can decide that for himself, and regardless of what anyone else externally might want for themselves or for him, he needs to make his own decision. It's a decision no one can or should make for him. I would want him to understand that any pressure, guilt, grief, emotion, etc. that might be placed on him by others is irrelevant compared to his own reasons for making the decision. He can choose to take others' feelings into account if he wants to, but the ultimate decision is his, and he ought not to feel pressured in any way to be the Vision that was lost if he no longer feels connected to that identity.

“Vision… my love. It seems we have had snow.”

Vision had stayed behind to make the bed and straighten the room a bit while Wanda wandered out to make coffee or tea as she usually did each morning. He loved the peacefulness in the morning, the quiet of living surrounded by nature with the mountains not far away. Sharing the cabin with Wanda had become a wonderful way for him to not only reconnect with her after his unfortunate, forced transformation, but also the reinvent himself.

The sound of her voice had him straightening and turning his head to listen, however. His eyebrows rose at her words. "Have we?" he asked, venturing out of the room to where she was stood at the front door. "I thought it had become a bit colder overnight," he said, looking out at the sheer grandeur of everything covered in white, powdery snow. "It is beautiful..." he whispered. "The world looks far better in white than I do, I would argue," he mused.

He was quiet for a time as he simply stood admiring the trees and the thick cover of white over everything. The way the sound was more muffled than usual, being absorbed by the snow such as it was, was also intriguing to him. "Wanda? After breakfast, would you like to go for a walk? I know it is very cold, but..." He turned to look at her. "I could try to keep you warm as best I could." That was easy enough for him to do, since his core temperature already ran a bit hotter than that of human beings.

{out of paprikash} I was supposed to come out of hiatus today (12/14), but I've decided to give my MCU muses a wee break. The good news is, my classes have been wrapped up and grades are all in, so I'm off work until 1/21! The bad news is that it's been a very long week and I'm feeling tired and run down. My MCU muses have been a little quiet lately, and most of my muse is elsewhere atm, so I'd like to do some more writing over on @tarnishedxknight this weekend instead. Next weekend (12/21) I'll write my other group of Sat muses, and then the following Sat (12/28) I'll be back here. Sorry for the wait on replies, but sometimes you just need a break, you know? Thank you for your understanding, and I'll definitely be back on the 28th!

{out of paprikash} Alright guys, that's all I can do for now. I need to call it for tonight and get some sleep. I should be back as scheduled on 11/30, but it's around Thanksgiving and my birthday, so I'm not sure what my schedule for that weekend is going to be yet. Right now, I intend to be back on the 30th, but if that changes, I'll let everyone know. Goodnight! =)

Vision did not recognize the girl at first. With a slight cant of his head, he began scanning his memory databanks for her likeness and, when he'd found some memories associated with her, he quickly reviewed them. She was Cecilia Maximoff, youngest of the Maximoff triplets, sister to Wanda and Pietro.

"I was the victim of forced experimentation," Vision said, seeing no need to sugarcoat anything. "You knew my previous incarnation. Although I possess all of his memories, I am still attempting to decide how much of his identity... is still my own. I am Vision, but perhaps not as you once knew me."

“Vis, we should go and buy some pumpkins! This cabin needs a little… sprucing up for Fall don’t you think?”

Vision was temporarily confused. He looked around at the forest surrounding their cabin as they stood near the porch, looking over the property. "On the contrary, I see many spruce trees in the area, are you certain we need to-" He stopped as his gaze returned to Wanda and saw her smiling at him. "Oh. It is an expression. I see," he said, feeling slightly embarrassed. Some things were still taking time for Vision to relearn or to make sense of, even months after his... unwilling transformation.

PSA - Hiatus From 9/1 to 9/15

{i am the caretaker of souls} I'll be on hiatus for the first week in September (9/1-9/8) for the start of classes, and for the second week (9/9-9/15) to participate in FFXII Week. I'll be leaving my @tarnishedxknight blog open during the hiatus since that's where I'm going to be writing for FFXII Week. What that means for my Sat blogs is that I won't be here on 9/7 or 9/14, but I'll be back again on 9/21. I'll do both sets of Sat muses again on the 21st like I did today, so that neither set is skipped for too long. And then I'll alternate the sets from there as usual. See you then! =)
