"For you a thousand times over" (this phrase pierces through the heart😭) Until now, I'm still gripped with emotions every time i think of the story of Amir and Hassan in the #KiteRunner. It's a gripping and emotional story of betrayal and redemption, the story of a blossoming Afghanistan, and the story of a falling Afghanistan. The final chapter of the book is my favourite, and one that I have found moving even when rereading it. The message behind the very ending could be interpreted differently by different readers, but I believe that it offers a sense of hope for both the future of its characters, and perhaps for the war-torn Afghanistan as well. Have you ever felt grateful for smallest of things in life? Things like your freedom, your family, your friends? The Kite Runner is a story that will make you feel as if everything you have, everything that you take for granted is a luxury. For many people in different parts of the world, these are dreams. 😥 When I read the last word of the book, I closed it and the first thing I did was, thank God for everything I have; and Pray. This book made me cry rivers. Ive never cried so hard. (the last time was when Sirius Black died in book 5 of harry potter) Do read the book.
