He was isolated at first, had nobody else- was alone.. So, for his freedom from his prison and a chance to connect with others- I made a contract with him. Fused our souls!

Then, I slowly started to isolate him and alienate him from his friends- making him subconsciously think I'm the only one he can rely on.

Then... I use my power over him, dangle his friends and son over his head as a threat, and theennn.. Made him marry me!

Pretty simple, truly. But that other Majin you're pursuing doesn't seem like that much of a pushover.. Have fun.
