"I heard there was something about a...bartender here?"
[He remembers that Ash person headed for the bar earlier, and some part of him hopes he's not there right now...]
- 🔍
"Por aquí, señor."
Over by the bar was a lady with wings of an eagle, her golden eyes matching with the vilitgo on her skin. There were a couple of people at the bar but Ash was no where to be found.
"I'm Silver Sakaki of Interpol. Though for now, I want to find out why my friend was attacked by an...Ash Williams."
[His Meganium is still standing next to him, trying to put on a serious face. It's not exactly able to, though..]
Then a cloud lady, who was a lot taller than the bartender, wearing a red suit and a yellow bowtie, their hairbow matching with their purple curly hair.
"Ok! So. Ethan, the man that told Terumi uh..."you're friends are pathetic, you'll never be enough for me" or something like that was uh, up by the exit until Ash came and was like."
Honey impersonated his soulless glare that he had. Although going back to their Ethan impression, it was surprisly accurate, almost close sounding just like him.
"And this Ethan guy just started going" you know it's true, mutts like you... blah blah blah."
"Then he started to lose it, taking Ethan by the arm and throwing him across the room! While also transforming into the beast that haunts this INVENTORY!!"
They floated up higher with dramatic flaws then paused as they looked back down at the detective.
"I'm sorry, was that too much? I can just really get into story mode when I'm sharing information. I hope you really don't mind sir! Now where was I.... Oh yeah."
"Then he took the guy again and I believe he threw him to the wall, breaking his arm badly! He was about to go finish him off like a murder scene before Terumi hopped off the bar stool and was like,"
"STOP STOP!!"
"Then our co-worker, Oscar, stepped in, grabbed the 12 ft wolf by the fur and lifted him up going,"
"You heard her, now get!"
"And he left after Terumi went to Ethan to get him medical help wher he eventually went to the hospital after Terumi left and Oscar was too by M'lady to go search for them!"
Honey stopped, out of breath and collapsing beside the bar counter, Esperanza going over to Pat her head and turn to Silver.
"¿Alguna otra pregunta?"
[His Meganium was listening to the story intently, but Silver was just quiet.]
[Gold...if it wasn't for the fact he had an image to uphold, he would've strangled the man himself. He was already missing his chance to see Terumi today, of all days....]
"Beast that haunts the Inventory? I assume that has something to do with his curse. And I apologize for my friend's actions."
"Oh it's fine! Really, we've had worse! Ahaha..."
They collapse to the floor, exhausted and burnt out.
Esperanza sighed as she looked back to the detective.
"Sí, no es la primera vez que nos enfrentamos a algo así, pero no sientas que tienes que disculparte por sus acciones; él mismo puede venir aquí y decirlo. Pero como me da la impresión de que no lo hará, supongo que puedo pasarlo por alto..."
"Pero estoy seguro de que nuestro compañero llegará pronto con Terumi; no sé cuánto tiempo ha pasado, pero realmente espero que ambos estén bien."
"I do hope so. I'm missing her birthday for this."
[He sighed, sitting at the bar.]
"Terumi left? And Oscar followed after her.."
"Sí, no estoy seguro de cuánto tardarán en volver, pero esperemos que todo salga bien."
Esperanza sighed as she adjusted her glasses, then moved over to make what looked like a martini, although it was hard to tell because of her wings.
"Unless she headed back home, he might be able to get her.."
[She wakes up. What felt like hours for her was only a few minutes. Again, her scars are gone..and she had quite a strange dream. Stepping out to hear the faint sound of jazz...]
"...is that?"
[She notices a familiar orange haired man outside her window. She steps outside again, but instead of the mysterious being of aurora...]
"Oscar?"
[ @theinventory ]
The smooth sound of the baritone saxophone he plays still continues on, the sound filling with the night but eventually comes to an end when he notices Terumi at the sidewalk of her house.
"Seemed you had a nice slumber."
He tried to say with a little humor
"Oh, I had the strangest dream. The legendary beast Suicune appeared and it put me to sleep..."
[Her Bewear has followed her, the giant 6'11 figure of the cute yet worried looking animal following after her.]
"And when I woke up, everything was back to where it was before I came in, a-and.."
[She holds up her hand against her face. The scarring at the side of her face has disappeared. And so has the bite on her shoulder..]
"Dragons...was it real all along?"
"Wait, you came all the way to Alola and waited for me..? How? And what was the reason?"
"I've been through a path to get here many times with a co-worker before."
Oscar walked over and he fixed her messy hair, and pulled out a warm sheet to put around her.
"And, M'lady sent me out to go search for you, and that Ash was worried about ya after you ran off. My job is to make sure every guest is safe and unharm, and well, you're a guest to our Inventory so... why wouldn't I come all this way for ya."
His tone was... softer than it sounded back at the Inventory, and was gentle as well.
"Also uhm... Sorry about calling ya that back there, guess I'm not the best when it comes to keeping check with my temper, huh?"
Oscar chuckled, but only lost it after a few seconds. Now that she was closer to Oscar, Terumi could get a better look at his scars, they almost covered his entire body from the looks of it, she may not know how brutal that night was or how awful that other night was that he wouldn't talk about, but the scars just looked painful to bare, what was the last time she's seen someone THIS badly injured before?
"...It's fine. I don't really care anymore."
[She looked back at her pokemon.]
"I'll be fine, Pāʻani, don't worry. You and the others...I guess I could bring them."
Oscar looked towards the Pokémon and gave it an assuring nod before looking back at Terumi.
"Well, we do have a place for them if you decide to bring them. We had it since... November of last year. Or whatever."
Man, since when did he suck at communication.
"They want to come with me, it seems...but if they have a place to go, I will bring them."
[Not only is it the Bewear staring at her, but so is her Eevee, alongside a Rockruff, a Slowpoke, a Chansey, and a shiny Psyduck.]
"...if you don't mind, of course."
"Of course I don't mind. I've gotten used to having Pokémon as company, it's not going to be a bother"
"Let us head back, then.."
[She wakes up. What felt like hours for her was only a few minutes. Again, her scars are gone..and she had quite a strange dream. Stepping out to hear the faint sound of jazz...]

[It's cold. She's tired. She's been running for almost three hours...]
[She takes a look at her reflection. Barely any attempts at trying to seem human. The markings won't fade and the eyes won't stop glowing.]
[She hopes to find him soon, ask him why he left her to seemingly fade.]
"Arceus...please tell me you're still there.."
[She feels like weeping. Like mourning all her old friends.]
"I heard there was something about a...bartender here?"

"Oscar?"
[ @theinventory ]
The door to her office creaked open, he could see her standing there, staring at him with those eyes of hers, no emotion and stares right j to your soul.
"M'lady?"
"Mr. Williams. Oscar must've told you. Please sit down."
He walks over and sat himself in front of her desk. The both sat in silent, the anxious feeling crashing through Ash as he couldn't himself to stare in The Owner's eyes.
"Has he told you why I wanted to talk about you?"
"No ma'am."
"Hm. Well, as you've probably thought of, it's your little fight with that man earlier... eh, his name was..?"
"Ethan, I've heard ma'am. But he prefers Gold"
"Oh... I guess that's a first. I've heard better anyway"
Ash chuckled, shaking his head a little as he faced up
"Soooo... what do you want to talk about the fight?"
"Ah yes. Now, I've heard word from SPARK about the whole situation. I must say, I am impressed you managed to take him yourself, and did quite a number on him, quite wonderful to hear. But there is something with you and new girl from the combined universe."
"Terumi? The Player's alternative?"
"Yes. But before I begin, please understand that I'm speaking of pure honesty and want this to be advice for the both of you."
"Yes ma'am"
"Now. I understand how you felt and how Terumi must have felt. But you both have got to stop with whatever you're doing. Firstly, you cannot continue to com here on nights you know are going to be trouble, I have told you many enough times that you have full permission to stay home."
"And secondly with the young lady. I know she must mean something to you, but you cannot let her think what works in here doesn't work with ours, along with other individuals from her own."
"I've also heard about the conversation with her and Oscar outside, if she refuses to see and learn what she is supposed to do in this world combined to hers or how to understand everything, she's only going to get herself killed and shamed even more."
"The both of us know that, and it's only going to get worse if she continues to be this way."
"Ma'am. If you please, Terumi is a nice lady, she really is but, after seeing her attempts of being so stubborn and such anxious to please someone, do you think it's already too late?"
"No. You remember the year you came to The Inventory?"
"Yes ma'am"
"You remember how stubborn you were to learn the truth about this place and how it was different from yours?"
Ash paused, as if trying to remember exactly.
"I did. You were a very interesting man, always asking the weirdest questions like it all never existed. At least you had Winslow and GLaDOS to hell with your understanding. But Terumi and her people are going to be more difficult, even if any of them refus to listen, I give you two options, try to tell them through or leave them to find out their consequences."
"I will help by watching over and calling you and everyone else for any other updates and more. Thank you Mr. Williams. That's all I want from you."
Ash stands up and nod towards The Owner, turning towards the door before he stopped and looked towards The Owner.
"Um, one more question, ma'am."
"Go ahead"
"Oscar said he won't return until he's dealt with Terumi. Did you tell him the same thing before you sent him to find us?"
"Indeed. But don't worry, Oscar may be brutally honest and aggressive, especially towards you, but he's knows his way through people, he's the toughest and most stubborn employee I know. He'll do fine."
Ash nodded, walking outside the door of her office. The Owner stood and looked towards the small window behind her. In a flash, her body brushed into flames as her boday dropped to the floor, only a flame hovering her remained, flying out the window in search and watch for Oscar.
". . ."
[Silver only thought if he looked in, he'd get some sort of clue. Not every single bit of information as to what his friends were doing.]
[Terumi was..."The Player"? That was a strange nickname. And this Oscar person...what did he want with her? And especially this "Williams" person—what had the two been doing?..]
[And Gold, he had gotten into a fight? Silver knew he was cocky, but for her to...say she was impressed? He knew he had his pokemon in hand when he left, did he use them? What would Lyra think?]
[Once she left, he was about to do the same—and then the door creaked open further.]
"...oh no."
[He grabbed a pokeball, waiting to see what the man would do.]
Ash only looked at the man in front of him, th both of them only staring at each other for quite a bit.
But Ash only sighed and left, leaving the door to The Owner's office open.
"...I just heard that you fought my friend, and you just ignore me?"
[His voice is monotone. He seems exhausted, but not annoyed.]
"What happened to my friends? Gold and Terumi, what did all of you do to them both?"
[He put the pokeball away...for now.]
Ash stopped in his tracks and looked over, already too tired for another problem.
"Look, Gold ain't dead, Terumi ain't dead, they're both equally alive. I don't know where he is now, one of the employees is searching for Terumi. If there is possibly anything else you demand to know, why not bother M'lady for me, you're right at her door"
Ash goes to walk off again and downstairs to the bar.
"M'lady?"
[...he walks inside. It's cozy, but ominous.]
"...hello?"
As he entered, he saw a 13 feet tall woman with ears of an elf, her blackish brown hair curling up and her outfit as beautiful as the Victorian era. Her body in flames only to die out, leaving a tail of fire behind her.
She turned to head to face him, her eye's shown no remorse or anything emotion, they looked lifeless...
"Ah. I wasn't expecting anymore visitors, please have a sit."
[He bows, then sits.]
"Silver Sakaki, of Interpol. I came to see if my friend was here... I've been too busy to visit until Looker returned from where he was sent, but I hear she left..."
"Ah, yes. One of my employees is looking for her. I've seen you've been informed of a fight from our little conversation, don't worry, your friend ha a little argument with one of our guests, as you've just met, and will probably come back around in a few minutes or so."
"Would you like something to pass the time through your wonders you might have with this place? I can stir up from biscuits or a cup of pu-erh tea."
"It would be an honor. I suppose you should explain more, I've never really been here before."
[He thinks to himself again. So from what he knew, Gold was injured and Terumi had something told to her that caused her to leave. And that "guest" would transform into something under the moonlight? He couldn't exactly tell what specifically from what she had mentioned. At the mention of tea, his Meganium let itself out of it's pokeball.]
"Ah, sorry about that. She seems especially interested in the tea."
"Oh it's no problem. It's been common around here since we've combined universes. That, I believe you're already aware of."
She sets out three cups of tea for herself, Silver, and his Meganium, while also setting out a plate of fresh honey biscuits, taking a sit as she looked towards Silver.
“My apologies, it’s been so long since anyone has been this curious about The Inventory, I merely forget where to start first. So, what would you like to know?”
"Hm. Firstly, who really was that person, what happened to Gold fully, and what did you mean, 'what she was doing was going to get her hurt or killed'? What did Terumi do?"
[The grass type is happily drinking her tea, even sneaking a few biscuits—not that the two would care if either of them noticed.]
“I see. Well first, the person you’ve met outside was one of our former guests, Ash Williams, he’s been with us for many years before our worlds were combined. Although recently, he’s been known for his little curse, we’re still trying to work it out with him.”
“Now Mr. Gold. Let’s say he left with a couple bruises and a broken arm after fighting with Mr. Williams, although I’ve already heard that Mr. Gold was the one who started the fight.”
“Now with Terumi, you see, our rules work a little differently from what I’ve observed, she’s not used to. She’s the one who stopped the fight in the first place and chased after Williams after the fight. Mr. Sakaki please understand that as much as you, I do the best for my guests to be safe, but if she continues to stop fights like this and chase after danger just like this and just assume everything can connect together and be fixed, then I’m afraid she’s never going to work with us.”
“Now if you have anymore questions or some remarks you want to make, please go ahead.”
"Terumi has a good heart, I know she does. She's the one who made me change my ways and turn against my father fully."
"But if she's going to get hurt, I will try my best to stop her. It will hurt me more than it hurts her, though. "
"But I just don't understand what Gold did to end up getting attacked. He started it, and I can see that happening, but he also has immensely powerful pokemon. Unless he didn't bring them with him..."
"And Ash's curse. If our universes have combined there's a chance he possibly disturbed a ninetales, or... probably something else since this is the first time I heard of it.."
“I see. It seems that you’re confused on two situations of the whole incident, let me try to help you investigate with it.”
“From I heard from our bartender and entertainment host, Gold didn’t seem to have his own ball like you did, he may have forgotten his back at your inventory, but since I don’t know him as much as you do, I can only guess.”
“And now… Ash’s curse started long before we combined as one, nobody really knows besides him on how he got it. There have been…incidents during the early stages of the wolf. But these nine tails you talk about, maybe they could also have a connection.
“you see, unlike you sir, I don’t know about the Pokémon or their history, if you have any information that you would like to point out, please do.”
"It's said you get cursed if you disturb any of it's tails. But if the fusion has been recent, I don't think that could have caused it. But I suppose Gold not having his pokemon explains the injuries. And you say there were witnesses?"
“Yes, four, two left in the woods but there’s still two here, Esperanza D’Águila, our bartender, and Honey Yun, our entertainment host. Both were at the bar right when it started, and they will still be there if you want to discuss them about anything.”
"I think I have it figured out now. I will go and see them...thank you, Miss."
[He bows, then leaves. His Meganium lets out a cry that sounds similar to a thank you and follows after.]
[Terumi wept, her house and sheets a mess. Dirtied bandages littered the ground as she tried to calm herself. There was a purple glow behind her...]
[...this had to be a dream, right? It approached... and this was all she could see.]
[She closed her eyes as she was encased by the aurora, her wounds fading away and her body falling into a deep sleep.]
