Does the brush make the artist?
One was painted with a 1€ brush. The other with a 5€ brush.
I won't tell you my opinion, you form it yourself. I just present the results to you.
Let us speak of another subject. That being.
The cheap, dollar store brush is who would have thunk. That it does not have the finest hairs and the sharpest tip.
So to fix that and knowing that its so cheap you can grab your ✂️ and go 🦧 on it. No regrets, nothing. Trim, pluck the loose hair and if it dies on you the cost was small enough to not lose sleep over it.
Our trolleys are fully jollied.
So my question lies in, why do I have to do the same routine with the 5€ one?
Like I get it its not the upmost tier quality, still, there was a few large, bent and incredibly rough hair in the blend making me wonder if that kolisky was cross bred with a hog or something.
The moment I saw that thing I immediatly went to check on the other ones.
Thankfully no similar occurances had happened (for now, rough hairs sometimes are only spotted when the brush is used). Cause boy, man, mam, lady, lord and all the fellas who don't give a fuck I would be pissed as all hell if I had to fix any production errors to a brush whose price is at the 2 digits. This is the threshold where I expect it to be ready to use immediatly out of the box. Its not crazy, is it?
To conclude, so far the difference between the 2 contestants are that the 5€ one has a chunkier handle making it a bit more comfortable to hold.
At least for me. Take the information with a bit of salt because it came from someone who was painting for many, many hours gay realizing that he can manage to paint 2 blades maximum out of all 5.
I need to become stronger.
I need to go to work tomorrow and not tell my coworker to go eat some dirt from the yard so he might stop gossiping about everyone in the office.
I hate that man my imaginary friend. He is such a two faced snake, I would feel safer working with an apex predator.
But alas, life is a challenge and what doesn't kill us better be careful cause I am coming for them and peace was never an option.
