because claude ended up really liking you and wanted you to stay

the only reason banshee know about you
is because haru was a dumby and forgot food
so you came running in to takeshin gakuen and gave him lunch

and he also forgot that the others were there
so he gave you a kiss as thanks as well as a hug
where he goofily sways from side to side and spins yโall in a circle
when you left to go back home everyone was like

when he explained it, they all felt like you were too good for him

and that is now on one of those mannequin head thingies in a glass cabinet in your bedroom
you guys often spend the morning together in bed just cuddling
sometimes you guys will talk while youโre half awake

many mornings youโve woken up to breakfast in bed
and itโs not even a cutesy thing
you just turn on the tv and watch netflix or something while putting your plates on top of the bed and eating like that
if he has to leave early, heโll get out of bed and make sure not to wake you up, giving you a kiss on the head before leaving
but he always leaves a little origami flower for you to let you know he still loves you ;v;
he purposely leaves a stem on them so you can collect them all and make a bouquet out of them
in return, you often sneak little notes or drawings in his bentos
and he 100% saves them all
also, heโs matched outfits with you on dates before
he thinks itโs funny
but also cute
and shows other people that youโre his
because you cannot convince me heโs not overprotective
heโs shielded you with his body before when he sees others look at you funny
and he kept you behind him just a little bit when you were first introduced to claude
but in public, youโre always in front of him so no one can take you without him knowing
he also gave you a necklace with a button that alerts him if youโre in danger

youโre pretty safe with him
haru leaned against the front door to the safe house and sighed heavily, exhausted from that nightโs mission. he glanced at his phone and turned it on to check the time, groaning after seeing 3:29 am. pushing off the door, he wandered through the dimly lit building, stopping at the main kitchen to get himself a snack.
opening the fridge, his brows furrowed slightly as he saw a plate with a cover over it, a note on top that read: haruโs dinner <3
a sad smile spread across his lips as he took the plate and put it in the microwave to heat up. as he waited for the soft ringtone from the microwave to signal the end of the cycle, he stared at his lock screen, getting lost in your eyes as you grinned, the original flower crown he made you adorning your head.
โwelcome home,โ a tired voice called from the elevator doors. turning around, his frown deepened, seeing you walk towards him while rubbing your eyes and yawning widely.ย
โi told you not to wait for me, sunshine,โ he said, walking towards you and giving you a warm embrace, kissing your forehead tenderly.ย โyou should be in bed.โ
โi couldnโt sleep,โ you mumbled with a small pout.ย โi like it when youโre there to cuddle me.โ
haruโs heart melted on the spot and he smiles gently, giving you another kiss on the head.ย โwe can cuddle soon, i promise. iโll just wait for the yummy dinner you made me to finish and we can go to bed.โ

quickly taking the food out of the microwave, he ushered you back into the elevator, rubbing your side softly with one hand while holding the plate of food in the other, relishing in the feeling of your body against his.
waddling over to your shared bedroom, you plopped down on the bed again, patting haruโs side of the bed to convince him to join you, not that you needed to. swiftly getting changed into his pyjamas, he slid in beside you, eating the dinner youโd cooked in content. he noted the way your eyelids fluttered shut every now and then and placed the empty plate on the bedside table to deal with later.
sliding further into the bed, he rested his head on the pillow, opening his arms for you to settle yourself in. draping the covers over you, he reached to turn the night light off and succumbed to the darkness, finding comfort in the closeness of your bodies and the warmth you shared.

so when he came over to be sad, he paused at the entrance seeing you sitting by the edge of the pool with your legs dangling in the water
he considered just finding somewhere else, but then he heard a sniffle and he felt kinda bad for ditching-
after he awkwardly shuffled over and sat next to you, he asked what was wrong, in which you told him why youโre there
he definitely didnโt know what to tell you
the best he could do was stiffly rub your back as you cried
wasnโt what you wanted, but it was something
from there on out, youโd gotten closer as friends
letโs get this straight, ever since he talked to you by the poolside he was in love with you
heโd always been protective of you

you can imagine how he reacted when you got stabbed in the side by jamie
he was quite literally seeing red because of his busted eye
but now he saw red figuratively after hearing a shriek of pain come from you
after returning to the safe house and everyone had for the most part healed up, it was you who found him by the pool
sitting with him as he beat himself up over not being able to keep you safe and also getting injured himself, you returned his gesture all those years ago, except the awkwardness was gone
when he finished, you pulled him in and gave him a kiss to let him know he was fine and didnโt fuck up
which broke him
but also prompted you guys to start dating

julius is a really awkward boyfriend
at the start anyway
he eases into it eventually, but in the beginning, heโs hopeless
stumbles over words and goes red after any form of romantic affection
every anniversary of yours would be spent by the poolside just talking
and youโd always cook together
there had forever been a part of you that longed to be a normal person without all this partizan bullshit
so you often engaged in blander activities to even out the being part of an evil organisation bit
every morning, if he noticed youโd somehow escaped his arms, heโd shuffle closer to you and pull you against him again
and if either of you woke up before the other, youโd get each other your morning coffee or tea and drink them in bed together
heโs really fucking touch starved, so cuddles every nightย
and he loves kissing, oh my god
heโs addicted
he also loves it when you kiss his scars
it makes the baby feel loved ;v;
and youโre under close watch when out on missions because no one touches his partner
though you often get teased for being couple-y around the safe house by other members
when jamie first came to the safe house, julius was mad

and to be honest, you were also really cautious
jamie caught a glimpse of the scar on your side from the tompkins manor scuffle and apologised to you
so while you accepted it, both you and julius were still quite apprehensive
over time you grew to be friends with him, but you found you could never be around jamie without juliusโ arm around you or hand holding yours
sometimes when he was jealous heโd pull you in for a kiss that lasted a couple seconds before shooting whoever was making him jealous a glare
at one point it became so frequent that you pulled him in by the belt and gave him a kiss

i personally believe that julius likes to caress your jaw when yโall kiss
the other hand is around your waist or holding your hand most of the time
the coloured lights in the pool illuminated your face as you stared into the clear water, swinging your legs gently through the water. it was over. leviathan, the organisation that defined your whole life and gave you a purpose, had disbanded.
memories were attached to the hexagonal tower youโd been living in for the past 10 years minimum, so you were reluctant to leave. your suitcases sat in your bedroom, completely empty. youโd meant to pack soon so you could start living a regular life, but now you werenโt sure youโd ever get one.
โthought iโd find you here,โ julius said from the entrance. a soft smile played on his lips as he saw your figure bathed in the purple and blue pool lights. as you looked at him, his gaze brightened slightly, taking leisurely strides before pulling his socks off and rolling his pants up to his knees and sitting beside you.ย โwhatโs on your mind?โ he asked, placing a hand on your thigh and squeezing lightly.
taking a deep breath, you leaned your head on his shoulder and closed your eyes.ย โjust what weโre gonna do now that leviathan is gone,โ you admitted.

a silence filled the area as you sat beside each other in the dim light. most people found an almost all black room to be depressing, but you both found comfort in the darkness.
โi will too,โ he said finally, pulling away from you to stare into your eyes.ย โbut i know that iโm home whether we stay here or not, because iโll be with you.โ
smiling through misty eyes, you pulled him in by the back of the neck, pressing your lips to his gently. snaking his arm around your waist and grazing his fingers along your jaw, resting his index and middle fingers against your neck and smiling at your quickened pulse.
the sweet moment didnโt last much longer, as the water engulfed both of your bodies and the sound of a splash filled your ears. looking to the water, you saw the rest of leviathan in their swimwear and laughing amongst themselves.
โsorry, we saw an opportunity and took it,โ jamie said through his smile.
โthe building is still ours, you know,โ phi explained.
โpool party as celebration for our freedom?โ you and julius stared at the prince of maradova, then back to each other with wide grins.
