Caine Had A Better Self-Reflection Arc Than Stolas Ever Did

I think with Caine he actually showed more self-reflection than Stolas ever did with Blitzo. Caine admitted his faults and why people didn't like him instead of doubling down. He also apologized to them and self-improved instead of doing self-pity for himself unlike Stolas. For Stolas's case, he did at first seem he wanted to do right by Blitzo but it becomes more obvious he cares more about the reward of a relationship instead of actually healing their toxic bond. As a result, when Blitzo rightfully calls him out on exploiting him and doing a hollow grand gesture the owl goes into victim complex mode and forgets about amending his mistakes and whines about how Blitzo "hurt" him. And Blitzo is treated as the victimizer rather than the victim of Stolas' actions. I think it could have been longer but in that short time Caine did more to try to improve himself in order to mend his relationship with the gang rather than Stolas who never actually apologized and tried to make it a two way street it never was. Caine takes accountability that Stoals refuses to really do.

This is Derision levels of hypocrisy - being an abuse victim is no excuse for bullying, but stalking and obsessiveness are excused by trauma; refusing to let go and move one from your old enemies is petty and a sign of a weak, angry person, but the shows creator can dedicate at least one episode per shows season, to shit on his least favourite character and target a fanbase surrounding her FOR YEARS after her character assassination in canon

I liked Sabrina confronting her abuser and moving on, but it had to be ruined by Marinettes edgy aah laughter and corny zingers in response - you’re NOT taugh, lil bro😭✌️

You could physically see the writing quality taking a deep for this particular episode, which happens every time Thomas pushes his own agenda no matter what
