After having photographed Jon's sisters wedding a few years ago, I had the pleasure of celebrating with their family once again!  Jon & Lisa are two very down to earth, amazing people and the proof of that was the outpouring of love from their friends and family!   Holding their party at Red Hook Brewery….well that just proves how awesome they are, because who doesn't love great beer?

The Studio in the Eyes of the "Intern"

Sitting here in the design studio, gives me great inspiration and imagination I need to design the perfect invitation. The atmosphere and uniqueness of my surroundings are what captured my interest of being part of this place. I remember the first time I saw the listing for an intern online. I immediately "googled" Invited Design Studio and new it was the place to be.

What a Week is Worth

So many exciting things going on this week. This Tuesday morning was hectic. Megan the head of marketing here at IDS (Invited Design Studio), assisted a bride with invitations. After finishing her appointment; on a side not the bride was a "walk-in" and Megan is an intern aka "head of marketing". Therefore this was her second consolation, within a half hr she had narrowed down 3 out of 3,936,174,038 choices out of the ever so endless books. Erin her boss texted her that morning letting her know what the dealio was for her since she was going through her training for real estate. This was the common occurrence her and the IDS crew have a good system going. There late afternoon talks is what keeps the two mesmerized by the craftsmanship on the invitations details. Amy Winehouse radio in the background followed by Adele add to the atmosphere of Invited Design Studio.
