Grey symmetry in a beautiful silence
I have always been amazed by brutalist buildings. I am interested in how the grey tones of concrete in combination with the polished finish of it, can create such buildings.
What I tried to achieve in this series of photographs is to capture the texture, colour, finish, symmetry and massing of those buildings. By creating square photographs, it allows the viewer to let their imagination flow and embrace the moment captured. These photographs don’t aim to place you in a time or space but rather explore the feel of brutalism.
Lastly, this series of photographs marks the end of an amazing journey of the photography designate. It made me see surroundings in a different point of view and learnt how to capture a moment. This definitely marks the start of a new chapter in my architectural career.
