I apologize for the huge gap in updates. As I mentioned in previous posts, my site builder and I are basically rebuilding the site up from scratch and without an upload platform in place all the new pages are built by him by hand. 

Soon I shall have my very own platform so I can upload pages as soon as they're ready! But for the time being your continued patience and support is greatly appreciated!

Progress is slow.........MORE BEHIND THE SCENES!

Progress has been slow on both the new pages and on finalizing the website.

So to pacify your patience, here's some alternate styles for the speech bubbles on page 3! I almost deleted these before showing you (they were already in the recycle bin) D:

Very similar to traditional speech bubbles. Decided against it because I didn't want bubbles all over the place (never cared for that in comics much).

Sort of a hybrid between traditional and the final product. The bubbles lack tails and are always match the characters y axis while staying at the bottom of the page. This is my least favorite one; it has the worst aspects of all the others.

Very similar to the final version. Designed to be similar to an in-game chat window like in RPGs. Decided the colors and stroke around the letters made it too hard to read.

This one has some serious issues. The flat color obscures the art too much and is a huge distraction. But lettering is better. However I mostly didn't use this one because if there are multiple characters talking in the same panel its going to start looking like puzzle fighter...

Hope you guys like the style I ultimately chose! And appreciate this little peek into my process!! And can remain patient for a bit longer as we fix the site!!!

Trying something a little new...

I want to try something a bit different with tumblr...as a request, I'm going to experiment with posting my storyboards (and maybe even some works in progress) here and see how ya'll like it. So without further adieu: here is the storyboard for upcoming page 4!

Films of 2014 mini-rant

Back in January I saw the Lego Movie, was charmed by its quirky sense of humor, imaginative characters, and surprisingly deep story containing a unique message and then thought: "This might actually be a really good year for film!"....I think i jinxed this year...

FIRST! hello world! Whatever initial cyberspace formality you prefer to indulge. This is the start to what I expect to be a long catalog of misspellings and 3AM, drunken rants on humanist philosophy. Let this post stand as a time capsule for the web comic artist I am in the future; a time capsule I'm sure I will hastily delete. Oh, and I'm sure there will be some info on a web comic at one point or another...for this, tumblr, I solute you!
