`    i  .    born   under   renesmee   carlie   cullen   ,   hattie  -  anne   stayed   under   the   parentage   of   bella   &   edward   for   a   few   weeks   before   bella   came   to   the   decision   that   she   wasn’t   ready   ,   or   that   interested   ,   in   being   a   mother   .   hattie  -  anne   was   adopted   by   rosalie   &   emmett   not   long   after   ,   rosalie   becoming   the   mother   she   always   had   longed   to   be   .

`    ii  .    despite   looking   like   an   adult   &   their   brain   maturing   faster   than   their   body   ,   hattie  -  anne   is   still   very   much   a   child   .   spoiled   to   death   by   everyone   in   their   family   ,   it’s   easy   to   be   .   they   still   throw   temper   tantrums   when   something   doesn’t   go   their   way   ,   they   refuse   to   leave   home   without   certain   stuffed   animals   ,   &   even   the   way   they   hold   themselves   around   their   family   (  smaller   ,   in   a   way   ,   shoulders   hunching   over   into   bad   posture   that   their   mother   does   get   onto   them   about   )   ,   it’s   easy   to   see   the   child   in   them   that   never   got   to   exist   in   their   early   stages   of   growing   .

`    i  .    a   soldier   fallen   in   battle   ,   nikos   had   refused   to   go  out   by   his   enemies   hands   .   how   long   he   stayed   on   the   field   ,   death   at   his   door   ,   he   wasn’t   sure   but   suddenly   a   voice   called   to   him   ,   spoke   within   in   his  mind   .   the   voice   ,   ARES   ,   came   to   him   with   a   deal   .   an   offer   to   remain   alive   (   truly   immortal   ?   )   by   his   blessing   ,   so   long   as   wars   remained   and   bad   people   needed   to   be   punished   .   not   one   to   scorn   a   god   ,   nikos   took   the   trade   .

`    ii  .    he   fought   in   wars   to   come   ,   a   symbol   of   ares   etched   into   his   chest   &   the   victories   &   blood   spilled   made   in   his   name   .   but   eventually   wars   became   tiring   ;   brutal   &   unfair   to   innocent   lives   in   the   cross   fire   &   he   relinquished   his   place   on   the   battle   field   ,   taking   the   battle   to   a   different   scene   altogether   .   

`    iii  .    when   wars   took   fighting   towards   innocence   ,   nikos   took   his   own   wars   to   anyone   threatening   innocence   .   he   roams   city   to   city   ,   a   nomad   with   his   ear   to   the   ground   looking   for   any   snippet   on   who   might   need   help   .   it   began   as   murder   ,   finding   those   who’ve   wrongly   hurt   someone   &   taking   them   out   to   never   hurt   anyone   again   &   while   it’s   still   on   the   table   ,   his   path   continues   to   change   with   the   times   .

`    iv  .    he’s   asked   to   be   a   bodyguard   ,   of   sorts   ,   for   young   folks   going   to   clinics   with   rallies   constantly   outside   .   he   sits   behind   them   when   they   have   to   go   to   trial   to   help   put   someone   away   or   finish   a   battle   in   court   .   he’s   hunted   down   those   late   on   child   support   that   have   the   money   to   spare   .   because   while   ares   is   a   god   of   war   &   bloodlust   ,   he   is   a  protector   to   those   that   need   one   ,   a   source   of   strength   &   courage   for   innocence   .

There is a lot of amazing scenes that can make me cry - with Frank being vulnerable or funny or simply heartbreaking. But this one is special. Because there is a version of Frank that doesn’t get much love. Before he was exposed as the softest boy ™, he was a terrifying villain for like two episodes or so. 

And he rocked it SO FUCKING HARD. This scene still gives me goosebumps, it kicks ass so much. (also on the first watch, I was actually enourmosly scared for Karen here, the irony, amirite)
