Project Hail Mary side characters

A lot of the side characters in PHM were changed/merged/removed for the movie so I thought I would draw how I imagined them while reading the book. Closeups below the cut!

No Leclerc is not intentionally similar looking to Jon Sims TMA he just kinda looks like that coincidentally I swear.

Easy way to remember Eridian numbers

based on the "arms" of the character

| = 1 arm

V= 2 arms

λ = 3 arms, maybe this is closer to an upside down Y but in our characters a λ is the best approximation

+ = 4 arms

∀ = okay this is more like 5 distinct lines, like if you drew it out with toothpicks you'd need 5 of them, but I think it works well enough to use as a rule of thumb

ℓ = this is just a squiggle... with ZERO lines.
