Wait that’s actually a really good question…I think they did before the whole Lilith’s might situation since he did say it in episode six. Or maybe Val wasn’t up for it after ‘I’M FROM FUCKIN FLORIDA!’ So they never did…well I suppose it’s more the reason for our buddy Vox to get his body back!

So the exit door. It’s like one of the most important things in the show. You know how Kinger makes the butterfly in episode 6 and then tells us about how everyone can conjure things in episode 8? Well, based off that logic, I think that the exit door was something they conjured. Because they just need to will something into existence, right? And the biggest desire when first joining the circus is to find an exit. So I think that the exit door was never truly real and just a version of their need to leave.
Guys, we did it!! The final act is going to be in UK cinemas!! I’m so excited! We get to see it too! But the poster is a little worrying…what will happen in episode nine??
Summery: In 1950s Vox makes a deal with a new sinner. He wants her to "cook and clean" for him in exchange for shelter and money. As time passes they become close and the apartment feels much more like home.

Chapter one: the apartment
It was around the 1950s. Just a while after "50" year old vox died and entered hell.
He had decided to open up an entertainment industry just like how he did back on earth. Maybe after that he'll work on his "cult" stuff.
He had purchased a small 2 floor house. First floor was basically his office. A poorly made "voxtek" sign on top of it. Some sinners rarely came in to have their TVs fixed. Or even buy one.
Second floor was his house. It was small and had a balcony which he loved. He could smoke every night and watch the streets.
One day he was sitting in his office and looking at some blueprints he made of a new product called Vcomputer. He had another project which was about some kind of advertising broadcast.
He could already see it. Him becoming the number one overlord. The TV demon. He just couldn't wait to gain all this power-
DING DING
he sighs and slowly looks up. Expecting a customer. But there was a small girl, probably just out of high school, holding a sketchbook and a backpack. She had pretty h/c h/l hair that had a ribbon clip on it. A black maxi skirt, white long sleeve crop top and a black cardigan.
"Good evening sir..."
He rises an eyebrow. What is she doing in hell? She's some kind of a dog demon. He had no idea what her sin was that made her like that.
"Um..good evening little girl...how can I help you?"
"I'm looking for a job sir...do you accept employees?"
Vox rises an eyebrow again.
"Oh? And what can you do?"
"I can draw sir..I saw that your store sign needed work and I can fix that...I can design stuff..."
"Huh...why do you wanna work anyway?"
She blushes and looks down, fidgeting with her fingers.
"I..I.. I get harassed on the streets and i-..I need a place to stay in.."
Vox thinks for a moment then smirks. He could use this opportunity to his advantage. A new sinner who doesn't know what deals are.
"I have a proposition for you kid. You cook and clean for me along doing designs, and I'll give you shelter and money. Sounds wonderful hm?"
"W-what..? Cook and clean..? Like a maid?"
Vox scoffs. "Not a maid dear. You'll just clean the place you live in."
That was a great deal...she couldn't get both money and shelter anywhere.
"Okay.."
"So it's a deal?"
Vox leans in closer with widened eyes and a huge smirk. Electricity dancing around his screen and fingertips
"Yes a deal-"
"FUCK YES!!" he screams as blue stripes wonder around him. She slowly understood that this whole deal thing was wrong.

Vox leads her to the second floor where his house was. "Here's your room kid. It's empty but I'll bring you blankets and pillows"
She looks around the house. It was messy as she expected. A man living alone, what could go wrong?
"Thank you sir... thank you for your kindness"
"Yeah whatever."
After a while, she wears one of his turtle necks that was long sleeved With her own maxi dress. Vox was confused. It is fall but it's not that cold yet. "You can wear my other shirts too you know. I don't mind"
She adjusted the pillows and blankets he gave her to make some sort of bed. "I know sir. Thank you. This is comfortable" She says with a smile.
"Hmmm...go to sleep kid. You gotta start working from tomorrow"
"O-okay..."
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight sir.."
