hey sorry i was inactive i was in jail
this was probably posted before but HOLY LMAOOOO i seen some places where the black on the dome isn’t really opaque and you can see right through it it was frickin silly, BUT STILL BE CAREFUL AND ACT AS IF ITS AN ACTUAL CAMERA BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW
1: I know I’ll be asked, so… see that little smooshed corner of the MacBook box. That’s literally all I needed to get the spider wrap off, it was not on properly at all.
2: yes, I’m selling it. Feel free to make offers, but I’m trying to put it on Mercari this week.
3: …yes, I accidentally got a tester for the honey mask. but it was a backup one. Completely untouched as the rest.
4: no, not one store, not even same day. I just luckily live around busy rich soCal
5: yea I’ll be taking another little break for a while most likely. also deleting all typed stuff after a bit. if you can’t tell I don’t like having searchable text on my posts XD
omg
new lifters that werent here when the community set up our guidelines a couple years ago…
NEVER LIFT FROM SMALL BUSINESSES!!!!!!! WTF. I’m seeing so many hauls with “random boutique” used as one of the stores you went to. Youre stealing from a small town business owner. We do this shit to companies that are assholes to their workers. Stop fucking stealing from small businesses, churches, OTHER PEOPLE, and thrift stores that donate to charities. Whoever is doing this is DISGUSTING and needs to stop. This is already common sense on what NOT to do.
i’m still shook about this one story my friend told me about walmart, this dude cut the spider wires off twoflat screens and walked out with them in a cart and when he beeped he shown the greeter a fake receipt and he just walked out BSGSHJAHSG
So my last post went over great, so I put together some info based on the questions I got xoxo
Excuse my design skills, I’m a lifter not a designer.
This is also based on my own time and my own experiences only
Let me know your thoughts and if anyone wants anything else covered :)

So I've been looking at the tumblr lifting community's posts for awhile now and I'm obsessed and amazed; I've never lifted before but I really want to it looks so fun and I want free cute shit, but I'm so so scared!! How do I get over that and what/where would you recommend lifting for my very first time ever? Any tips or advice? I worship y'all 🙏🏼
oooookay lil nugget here we go.
first off - its okay to be scared. its actually better if you keep a little piece of you thats always scared, no matter if you’re experienced or a beginner. thats something that helps you keep track of what’s going on around you and helps you not get caught. when you get cocky or over confident, thats when trouble starts.
i cannot stress how important it is to start small. start small.start sosososososo small.smol
like a lipgloss from walmart or one plain shirt from old navy. maybe a lil pack of beads from hobby lobby. whatever you do, do it small.
this lowers the chance of you getting caught, and the chance of you freaking out more.
do this a couple times. lil thing here, lil thing there. this builds confidence. the more confident you are with yourself, the more likely you are to start pulling in bigger hauls.
be patient. dont rush anything. this is by no means a competition. this whole process of confidence-gaining takes weeks, maybe months for some people.
and another thing - the majority of us on here that are pulling in a shit ton of stuff? we’ve been doing this for years. ive been lifting for 3/almost 4 years now. do not feel like you have to hurry and catch up to us.
secondly -do your homework. read through people’s tip pages on here. read about hooks, magnets, detachers, keys, all the different types of security tags, concealment methods, horror stories - ANYTHING. everything will be helpful down the road. read up on how other people got caught so you dont make the same mistakes. read up on how that girl managed to bag 3 naked palettes and 15 Kat Von D liquid lipsticks. learn about cam placement and how JCP Sephora is a place to stay away from. learn SA behavior and how to tell if they are being nice or plain sus. Learn how to tell if a bag is going to be a good lifting partner or if its going to be a hassle getting things inside. get familiar with every aspect of this community. follow as many people as you can. get inspiration from everyone. learn this life. live it. breathe it.
thirdly - try and pair up with an experienced buddy. i have found this to be so helpful. you get to see first hand how they do what they do. you get to see them in action, and learn their methods. however, know that going out with more than 2 other people is sure to get you noticed and tailed. keep the lil lifting group to either a pair or 3 people. make sure you can trust them. make sure you know them.
STORES: Old Navy: they dont tag anything other than heavy coats and sweaters, some dresses, jeans, and in the summer some shorts. i re-vamped my whole wardrobe this summer courtesy of ON, but ive seen on here that they’ve started source tagging…. which makes me sad. so double check before you out anything into your bag. Hobby Lobby: there are like 7 cams per store all focused on the cashiers. go crazy. get your much needed art supplies. this is a great store for beginners - and other lifters who love crafting. Cotton On: nothing, and i mean NOTHING is tagged. idk why, but these hoes never tag anything and it makes me wonder what they’re even doing. i got christmas gifts for my brothers here this year, so i highly recommend this store. super easy. Dillard’s: do not let the large size of the store intimidate you - this place is heaven. sometimes you’ll get lucky and somethings been left off the rack and untagged. sometimes theres that teally cute wallet that you’ve wanted for a while and it doesnt have a single tag on it. go for it. conceal in the dressing rooms. trust me. formal dresses? no tags. (from what ive seen, and ive been to 3 Dillard’s in 2 different cities.) their desinger jewelrythat they keep down there? go for it. none of its source tagged or anything. i walked out once with 5 pairs of mate spade earrings and 2 wallets worth the 100 each. just pay attention to your surroundings and you’ll do just fine.
TIPS: - in the winter its cold as dicks, so wear sweaters. utilize these babies for all they’re worth. 1. sleeves are great for concealing small items like jewelry and lipsticks. 2. “i am so hot from all this shopping, is it okay if i have one of your bags to carry my sweater in? i would really appreciate it” (note: this only works with really nice SAs. some will be bitches and shut you down. you might have to try a couple of stores before you get one. and now you have a free shopping bag!) 3. put your purse in the crook of your elbow and drape your sweater over it. this helps conceal how big your purse is to begin with and hide how much its increased in size when you’re walking out. 4. idk they’re warm and fuzzy. they make me happy. - boots: stick things in there in case you forgot your purse or something. you can stick small things like jewelry and face masks down in there, its great.- go through your mom’s closet. or your aunt’s. grandmother’s. rich best friend, i dont care. more often than not, they have a couple of extra shopping bags from stores they’ve been too. my mom has Bath and Body Works for days, along with a couple of Coach bags and Ralph Lauren. these shopper bags can be used in the same way as a purse for hiding things in them. hide them in yoir bag on the way into a mall, and then in the bathroom, take out your lifted clothing and stuff one of the bags. that way, when you walk into other stores, the SAs think you’ve bought things from other stores. be careful and know the layout of the mall you’re in though, because if you’re carrying around an Urban Outfitters bag and theres no UO, then you’ve gone and fucked yourself. - be cautious, be wary, and not get greedy. get in, get out, and live to lift another day.
hope you’ll find some use for all this nonsense, good luck on starting your hobby of lifting and i hope to see some beautiful hauls from you guys!
ALRIGHTY here’s the post i set out to find for the anon but got carried away. do with it as you will.
Uncute Tip#8 (What will get you caught up)
So I decided to post this here in the main shoplifting tag as I felt it didn’t give anything away but some useful ass tips, and yall mofos should follow my private blog for more tips like this cause I ain’t posting any more here lol.
Also it’s all messed up in the tag, just saw that. Sorry. It’s all organized and cute on my blog thingy.
So I named this an uncute tag simply because it’s not cute. I’ve been doing just fine without these special extra tools or tricks and haven’t been caught yet. Some things aren’t for everyone. I’ll list what will get you caught/addicted.
Magnet’s/Hooks: These nifty little tools are great for people who sell shoplifted goods for a living however these can get you in a LOAD of shit.
For example:
I personally would never consider purchasing a magnet/hook, as this can lead to addictive behavior. Remember that shoplifting and all of this is a CRIME. It is not a job or hobby. IT’S NOTHING WRONG WITH HAVING THEM, I JUST WOULDN’T GET THEM, THATS ALL.
Being caught and having these on you will change your petty crime charges into something wayyyyy more serious. You can go from a fine to actual real real jail time.
You get stuck to metal objects. Now a good friend of mine on here told me about how she would get stuck to displays when she had her magnets on her. Suspicious or nah?
They’re very loud, if you’re in a quiet store the only thing employee’s will hear is the sound of you detaching tags. no good.
BEING LOUD AND ABOUT: Have you just known someone who was loud about everything? Will in the world of being a criminal, being loud and just plain out there can ruin your life. Literally. You want to be so quiet and out of view that they forgot you ever came in the store.
Ways to ruin your stealth:
Dropping Items. Like this is actually really bad, don’t do this, keep steady hands.
Talking to EVERY employee. It’s okay to talk to one at the MOST. But don’t talk to every employee because they’ll just be on your back trying to continue a conversation with you.
Being and look awkward. This means being clumsy, and fidgeting, it’s really hard to conceal while fidgeting, i’ll tell you one thing.
Having a HUGE bag. Nothing more suspicious. Like you’ll knock things down and look awkward and causing you to speak to employee’s and you’ll be breaking all the rules listed here, lol.
Having BAD partners: It’s one thing to shoplift, but to shoplift with a bad partner is asking to be thrown in the slammer.
Effects of having a bad partner and how it Affects you:
They get caught, you get caught. Rather they snitch or you to are close together.
They’re obvious. From the moment they walk in they’re suspicious.
They’re loud and about. Always in the view, can’t shut up and act so proud.
They’re clueless. ”Are you going to steal that?!” Bad partner asks while lp is already prepared to tackle you.
They act like children. Following behind you, always asking what to do, chickening out.
Will sell you out. They will cry, beg and plead to lp that you kidnapped them and made them shoplift.
Shoplifting EVERY DAY: This is a complete no no. I shouldn’t have to explain why.
What it will do to you and your well being:
It will become addictive. It will, no doubt about it. You’ll want to shoplift everyday, want to shoplift bigger things and get sloppy while at it.
You’ll become an even bigger cheap-stake. You’ll cry over paying for that 1$ bottle of soda because you could have stuffed it in your butthole, oooo nooo.
You’ll become recognized. The cameras will see you more often, entering the store and not buying a single thing if not shoplifting their store. They’ll start to wonder why certain items you picked up went missing and you’ll be the suspect. Next time you come in, BAM, RIGHT IN SLAMMER.
You’ll get lazy.I mentioned this but you will. You’ll want every thing to just come without a price and slip and then BAM, RIGHT IN THE SLAMMER.
You’ll get caught. You will, you didn’t listen to this beautiful post, and did all the things I said not to do and now look at you. In da slammer ye go.
Okay, guys that all I could think of for right now, I think I did good, as a lazy girl with bad grammar. I’d like to think I was very real in this post.
This needs more attention. These are some really good things to consider.
The addictive thing is so fucking true.
Im so mad at Sephora oh my god. I was looking. Honest to god looking and going to actually BUY something. But then they started cs'ing me to death. Like I was stealing. I had a bag from the shopping center a street over. You can take a free trolley to get to where Sephora is. One bitch was like: “oh I didn’t know we had X store in the mall” Me: “We don’t. It’s at -. ” I know what she’s insinuating. I’ve worked retail for 5+ years. Literally 5 seconds later another bitch shoved a shopper in my hands for the 2 foundations I was holding bc I honest to god didn’t know which one I wanted. 3 minutes later and I’m still being followed.
This might not sound bad but at that moment I knew they were looking at me like I was the scum of the earth
Mind you, I’ve done nothing sus except having one bag from another store and nots uncommon to see that brands bag here bc people take the trolley all the time. After this, I’ve had it. I’ve never lifted from this Sephora. I’ve done nothing to be treated like this.I buy from this Sephora. I DON’T LIFT IN THIS AREA BC I FREQUENT IT.
Those bitches messed with the wrong mother fucker.
I fucking asked for the manager. I explain what’s happening and how I feel insulted blah blah.
Meanwhile bitch 1 and 2 are squirming and whispering to the manager that I took shit. Jokes on them bc everything I had at that moment was from another store and had receipts. The manager asks to look in my bag. So ever sweetly I tell the manager that he can search my bags. Oh sweet baby Jesus. Like, I know I’m not supposed to let them look but in this moment my righteous anger was so great.
I had tampons, my wallet and phone and some other shit. Nothing stolen, No hooks. No magnets. Nothing. The other bags just had clothes that were accounted for on receipts.
The manager was pissed and I’m pretty sure those bitches are in huge trouble. I got a 30% off coupon and the birthday gift as a “We’re sorry we thought you were a thief!!!” thing.
So they’re all busy in the back and the employees are mortified (thank god) and you know what? I’m a bitch. So in retaliation I took some Sugar lip treatment and some bad blood lipstick.
And then I left a complaint on the Sephora website.
Drifter out, bitches.
dont FUCKING reblog outside of the FUCKING community it’s not that FUCKING hard
I don’t get people who constantly (ie. Not accidentally) reblog outside the community. Like, you don’t have another blog for that? 🙄
When marijuana is legalized in Canada will we be able to lift weed
Lifting iPhones
To everyone here that has lifted one, are they tagged? Like source tagged? I mean like at apple, wallmart, anywhere that sells them
Apple doesn’t source tag anything from what I’ve heard
My iphone from Apple in 2012 had a soft tag inside but I paid for it so I can’t tell u if all of them do or not.
I didn’t even know what a tag was back then but I remember it being in there
Idk if this is a joke but DO NOT lift anything that can be connected to wifi. Apple WILL know if it’s missing based on the serial number and they will disable it so 1. It’s pretty much pointless to steal and 2. It’s a serious crime that goes way past petty theft. Please please please don’t try to steal an iPhone.
Ughhhh 🙄
YA’LL LISTEN UP 👏🏻! DO NOT REBLOG OUTSIDE THE COMMUNITY 👏🏻! DO NOT FOLLOW ME IF YOU ARE NOT PART OF THE COMMUNITY 👏🏻! DO NOT FOLLOW ME IF YOU ARE NOT A LIFTING BLOG 👏🏻! DO NOT FOLLOW ME IN GENERAL IF YOU ARE A PIECE OF SHIT 👏🏻! THANK YOU, HAVE A LOVELY DAY KAREN 👏🏻!
Here is my nice haul… I will admit quite a bit it from the dollar store😅 but the others are from; lulu lem0n, wa!mart, bath and b0dy, and some weird commercial shop. I would like to say the leggings I go I am wearing so I just threw the tag in but it was $98.00! Pretty proud anyway 🤗
i’m basically taking a break from BIG lifting sprees, i’m just gonna get stuff i need, i won’t go out of my way to go lifting, but i’m not completely quitting
