I left school around 3pm because I needed to have myself checked due to my health problems. So I went to Wellcare and did this urine test. Waited almost an hour before getting the result.
Afterwards, I called one of my orgmates and asked where they are because I donāt want to go home and I want to spend time with them. They told me that theyāre in SM so I quickly went there.
Thereās this Korean Festival thatās happening in SM and free entrance on their cinemas of Korean films for 2 days! So since its free, I wanna watch it and of course, need to spend time with mates.
6pm magsisimula yung palabas, so we entered around 5:30 dahil baka maraming manood kasi nga libre and to think sa isang movie house pa siya.
Then ayun, nagsimula na siya. Kakasimula palang ng movie and suddenly felt emotional about it.
Its a story of an eldest child that needed to be strong for his family and tried to save them from poverty.
He suffered a lot during his childhood days, sacrificed everything all for the love for his family. He was tortured when he was younger and did this shoe cleaning as his sideline. God really knows that he needed someone to become his buddy and He gave him a bestfriend who never fails to support him all the time. As time passed by, he did extraordinary works like being a miner, cargador, soldier to make a living.
He really is a family oriented guy. Supports the studies of her siblings, bought a house for them and restored the shop in which his father told him about the address of the shop and promised to go there once he find his lost sister.
Fast forward. It took almost 2 decades for him not to give up the hopes of finding her sister. He took the chance of seeking help via tv station and ask the viewers if they find or know her.
Miraculously, someone called him and broadcast him live and talked to someone overseas. That scenario made me feel extra emotional tonight. Cried a river and I couldnāt control my tears from falling. I was really struck and amazed on how persistent he is and eager to find his sister and father. Unfortunately, it was only his sister that he found. I donāt know what happened to his father because the story didnāt focus on that. Yet all the hardships and sacrifices heās done for his family is what kept him alive.
I guess the love and foundation that you have for your family is really the strongest shield that youāll be carrying everyday. Even if youāre not with them every day, but at least just the simple thought of looking back for the reason on what you are doing, it makes you feel energized and inspired. Family love is really the powerful thing and strong faith in God. Feelings that you should hold on.
That movie really awakened me from something.
