On Sunday at Brick Lane in London, you have the chance to find vintage cameras and accessories. I was looking for an analogue camera to experiment with, instead, I got this little cute camera from 2009. Never had something like that before, is not too old/vintage and neither was the last model out. **
My neighbourhood is trying to scare evil spirits. However, I am actually enjoying it. Thanks 🙃🎃
I have recently visited three photographic exhibitions in London. I will not talk about how polished and well-organised they were. However, I felt a sort of distance from the majority of the hanging black & white frames photograph. Artists and photographers tend to be equal, like two entities that travel in the same hemisphere. Although, visual content produced by artists is not identifiable as content made by photographers. The figure of the Photographer suggests a parallel art history that differs from contemporary art.
A documentary project might describe a particular culture's eye or instead may well tell just the artist's feelings experienced during his journey. The projects are the same, but the reasons for their existence are unlike.
Personally, I am not sure how to identify myself between the two sides. At this stage, I prefer just to be observant, waiting for my time to bloom.

The lighting gives you an infinite possibility of creating different vibes. I enjoyed experimenting in my last class. Definitely, the gel light effect is my world. @theseannaes
The latest in my Autumn experiments in night photography taken in my back garden on a Polaroid camera.
Signs that Say What You Want Them To Say and Not Signs that Say What Someone Else Wants You To Sa
My last lecture was about collaborative practice. How artist uses their expertise and experience to work with and for the main subject of their projects. The lines are blurred where they became co-authors or co-creators. From 1992 to 1993 Gillian Wearing tried to take the side of strangers on the street in London. She asked them to write down something personal on a piece of white card. After she photographed them holding the message shown in front of the camera. As result, the photographs were the emotional states, social anxieties and personal issues of the subject. She was able to create a sort of dialogue between a simple human interaction and the photographs.
Personally, I have never thought about how my work could involve others in different ways. I think asking your collaborators to become protagonists, it's part of a process where you as an artist embrace the meaning of your own work.
I enjoy experimenting with new materials for my photography practice. In this case, I use a fishing glow. In the first pic, I wanted to see how the water could affect the green luminescence of the material. In the second one, I tried to draw with light also called light painting.
One of my favourite artistic styles is Minimal Art. The artistic approach was abstract, with geometric and basic shapes. Often, the main topic was abolishing capitalism and going against Pop Art. The artist focused more on planning the work than the result itself. For instance, Dan Flavin used to work with fluorescent light creating sculptural objects and installations. The viewer is found inside a space where the perception is altered and distorted.
I have recently moved from East to South-west London. The sun suggested to me the way of picking new paths.
I then decided to use my grandfather's globe to create a photo-feeling. She is taking care of the earth or better a micro-simulation of it.
Exploring Jennifer Bolande's work, she inspired me with an object that I found locked in my basement, a globe. Her Globe Series is photographed during a street walk. They explore the meaning of information we receive about our world from a dwarfed model of it.
I have a passion for cosy lamps and fancy torches. I tried to create various effects using semi-translucent material. The image of my hand reminds me of scenes from a sci-fi movie where the laboratory experiment is ready to wake up.
