Summary

A complete rewrite of Stranger Things if Will had never been found, starting from the end of Episode 7 Season 1.

Basically a Party-Centric fic, that explores their grief, guilt and their different experiences as outcasts in the 80s

I can see the future. I saw that months from now, I'm sitting in the theater, watching Avengers: Doomsday. Doctor Doom is just trashing the Avengers, New Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four. So many people die. And then, some music starts playing, and a Helicarrier appears over the sky. I realise that I recognize the music. Someone jumps off the Helicarrier, and they land in front of Doctor Doom. There's dust and debris, so you don't see them immediately. Once the dust clears, the figure is revealed. It's Daisy Johnson, standing face to face with Victor von Doom as the Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. theme is blasted. She says, "It's quake-ing time." and proceeds to quake Doom, as the greatest fight scene in movie history begins.

Imagine this:

The Avengers (yes, all the Avengers) are at their lowest. The Thunderbolts have no idea what to do. Half the X-Men are defeated. Doctor Doom stands nearly triumphant, about to initiate his final plan and bring darkness to all realms in the multiverse

Then

We hear a distinct, almost hollow vibrating sound. Doom's armguards begin to shake. The Avengers wonder what could be happening, if there's some sort of an earthquake, when--

Daisy Johnson bursts through the door, hitting Doom square in the chest with a quake blast. She looks at everyone else, head cocked like, "what up?"

Behind her, a flaming portal opens. Mack streams out with his shotgun axe, directing May, Davis, and Piper. Sousa is at their side, helping the fallen up. We hear FitzSimmons over the intercom. Elena zips out, unarming all of Doom's guards before they get the chance to blink. Bobbi and Hunter join in the fight and knock them out, squabbling the entire time. Robbie pops out, Ghost Rider just at bay

And finally, just as the portal begins to close, a lone figure steps through. Phil Coulson, the same as ever, a small smile coming to his face as he regards all the superheroes. Only one word escapes his lips:

"Hey"

Agents of SHIELD during Infinity War but the whole team gets blipped except for Coulson (cause he’s an LMD and doesn’t qualify as a living being (I think)) and Alya, so naturally he takes her in (that’s his granddaughter). He watches her grow up, enrolls her in school, goes to teacher/parent meetings. He encourages her to get into engineering, biologie, chemistry, things that come naturally to her. He tells her stories about her parents, and does his best to keep up with her.

And when they come back, FitzSimmons have missed five years of their daughter’s life.

(This is the best case scenario for Thanos, because anyone had survived he wouldn’t have had time to destroy the stones before they’d found him)

A bit early, it's not June 2nd yet - but happy 3rd birthday to VBEOW! Can't believe it's been three whole-ass years. I honestly haven't been able to write as much as I'd hoped this past year, but the story means just as much to me as when it was conceived, if not more! Up until now, the fic has also received much love and I'm honestly so happy and grateful for it T_T thank you all so much.

Yes you heard me right, the best tv show of all time is a fanfic about the Oliver Twist side character Jack Dawkins, aka The Artful Dodger, being a royal naval lieutenant turned surgeon in a penal colony in 1850s Australia who is constantly fighting being sucked back into a life of crime by his pseudo father who he has a complicated, and some may say toxic, father/son relationship with, which also features a class difference romance between him and the governor’s daughter who has a passion for surgery/medicine because she has a life threatening heart condition that only he is willing and skilled enough to operate on.

Oh and it’s all set to an Aussie rock soundtrack.
