SBK Boxing Club is the Netherlands oldest boxing club and located near the iris office. They celebrated their 70th year anniversary on Saturday. The only English member of the club and iris employee (Glenn) was asked to design a tribute poster in honour of the legendary Dutch trainer, Joop Willemse, who was being made a honorary member at the age of 80. The overall design was inspired by vintage style boxing posters; visual cues from the old style typography and simple grid layout. The framed poster is now hanging proudly in the club.

iris Amsterdam contribution to the Art Nepal event. No brief, no time (actually the night before)....but very happy to be able to submit something to such a fantastic cause. The event was to support Habitat for Humanity. the night itself raised a whopping €21k to help build homes for the displaced people of Nepal. An amazing achievement.
