some facts about iris clops

she was born on the 29th of february, meaning she can only celebrate her birthday every four years. she is 15

she was a previous member of the fear squad.

iris canonically can’t speak zombie, confirmed in fear the book vol 2.

she is extremely fascinated by astronomy, and has much love for stargazing. iris’s friendship with gigi is solely because of their mutual love for astronomy, and go stargazing together quite frequently

she is not so good with depth perception, and doesn’t always understand social cues. sometimes she can take things too literally. she also is very clumsy

her personality is described as shy and quiet, but behind all that she is a very sweet ghoul. however she can be seen as clingy, naive and possibly even a pushover

according to operetta in haunted, iris and manny break up and then get back together. that isn’t the first time that has happened, back in so you think you can date vol 4, after two weeks of dating manny, iris breaks up with him. but they get back together pretty quickly. in inner monster 2.0, iris is paranoid that she and manny will have to break up again for good due to the way he is treating her. even in the comics their relationship is rather complicated, manny’s anger issues and lack of communication leaves iris deeply confused. and her lack of social cues does not help their situations as well

in the beginning of the webisodes (before she was with manny), she was regularly seen with the pink cyclops character

her gff is scarah screams and is also good friends with draculaura. and as i mentioned earlier she is also friends with gigi. she can be seen hanging out with other backgrounders also, and of course manny

why is there like no media of kipling

i have always wondered who this pink backgrounder cyclops was. while he is way more noticeable in the monster high webisodes, i have managed to spot him out in the 3d movies also.

my own screenshots from Why Do Ghouls Fall In Love? spotting out backgrounders is so fun lol.

when Iris was still considered a backgrounder, she could be seen hanging out with him in the background, in Fright On it appears they even went on a date.

i have spotted them together more than a few time in the webisodes, which has naturally made me curious about him. unfortunately i believe he is nameless, but here is all the insight i have discovered.

in the webisode Fear-A-Mid Power, Belfry Prep is debating Monster High and he can be seen as a member of the debate team.

some more facts is that he assumably has an interest in dodgeskull and is a member of the casketball team.

i wish iris clops had more of a personality outside of her relationship with manny, she had so much potential. she is by far one of the most unique and intriguing ghouls in the franchise.
