After all of those miserable yet exciting journey that we had in the past four years, and now here we are. Standing tall and proud.
I’m standing here on behalf of my fellow IBMS students, to thank all of the teachers who have devoted their time to teach and prepare us, not only to become a successful manager or an entrepreneur, but also to become a better person. Then, for all of the faculty staffs in MIM Academy, thank you so much for all of your hard work, thank you for all of the reminder and thank you for all of the emails, in which we never reply, almost.
In a serious note. I would like to thank God, because without Him I will not be where I am today. Someone once said, You're Only As Good As Who You Surround Yourself With. So, in this occasion, I would like to thank my parents for being the twin pillars of my life with their unconditional love and supports. And my brothers. As annoying as they are to me with their snarky comments, I do feel grateful that I have them in my life. To my un-biological sisters, ladies, you know who you are, words can’t even describe my gratitude to have you girls in my life. Also to my significant one, thank you for your continuous support and guess what, even your sarcasm works! Thus, with all of that being said, I believe every one of you are feeling grateful for the same thing.
But wait, if I can thank something else, I would like to thank for the existence of Google and lots of coffee for helping me survive my college year.
So, as life always has its ups and downs, what a journey we’ve been through together. First year, a new beginning for all of us. New friends, the camp, the project, the trip, and the party. Second year, the survivor. The Brussels trip, the drink, the accounting and again, the party. Third year, the year of discovery. The minor, the internship, the study abroad, and of course, the party. Fourth year, the last students standing. The thesis, the defense, the extra chance and obviously, the party. And through all of those years with its own challenge, excitement and nervous breakdown, I must say that I have learned to always have faith in myself.
And last but not least, I want to remind you. At this moment, we are in absolute bliss. We are graduating from Saxion, ready to conquer the world – and do you know what? today my friends, our lives begin it does not get any better than this, and I for one, can’t wait.
So graduates, best of luck for all of us and enjoy whatever the future may bring.
