HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE FROZEN YOGURT & TOP TIPS
Add your favorite fruit and the rest of the ingredients into a food processor, blend until smooth and freeze. This is an absolutely easy dessert that could not be simpler, plus, you wonโt end up with icy, hard frozen yogurt.ย Use good qualityย frozen fruit because theyโll give you a creamyย texture once blended. Homemade Frozen Yogurt can be made with any yogurt you prefer.ย
The honey in this recipe is not just for sweetness; itโs what makes your frozen yogurtย scoop-able. Sugar in a liquid form is what stops ice crystals forming and keeps the yogurt soft.
For Dairy-Free or Vegan Homemade Frozen Yogurtย recipes, swap out the honey for agave and use a dairy-free yogurt like coconut yogurt.
STRAWBERRY FROZEN YOGURTย
2ย cupsย (10oz/284g) frozen strawberries
2ย Tablespoonsย honey or agave nectar
ยผย cupย (2oz/57g) plain yogurt (greek, non-fat or full fat)
1/2ย Tablespoonย fresh lemon juice
Add the frozen strawberries, honey (or agave nectar), yogurt and lemon juice into a food processor (or liquidizer).
Process until creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Scrape down the side of the bowl to make sure there are no lumps left.
Transfer it to an airtight freezable container and freeze for a minimum 6 hours but preferably overnight. Store it in the freezer for up to 1 month.
PINEAPPLE AND COCONUT FROZEN YOGURTย
2ย cupsย (10oz/284g) frozen pineapple
2ย Tablespoonsย honey or agave nectar
1/4ย cupย (2oz/57g) plain yogurt (greek, non-fat or full fat)
1/2ย Tablespoonย fresh lemon juice
2ย Tablespoonsย toasted coconut
Add the frozen pineapple, honey (or agave nectar), yogurt and lemon juice into a food processor (or liquidizer).
Process until creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Scrape down the side of the bowl to make sure there are no lumps left.
Stir in the toasted coconut with a spatula
Transfer it to an airtight freezable container and freeze for a minimum 6 hours but preferably overnight. Store it in the freezer for up to 1 month.
CHOCOLATE AND BANANA FROZEN YOGURT
2ย frozen medium bananasย (2 cups/10oz/284g) banana frozen
2ย Tablespoonsย honey or agave nectar
1/4ย cupย (2oz/57g) plain yogurt (greek, non-fat or full fat)

Add the frozen bananas, honey (or agave nectar), yogurt, cocoa powder and vanilla extract into a food processor (or liquidizer).
Process until creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Scrape down the side of the bowl to make sure there are no lumps left.
Transfer it to an airtight freezable container and freeze for a minimum 6 hours but preferably overnight. Store it in the freezer for up to 1 month.
CAKE BATTER FROZEN YOGURTย ย
1ย cupย (8oz/225g) plain yogurt (greek, non-fat or full fat)
3ย Tablespoonsย sprinkles
Add the cream cheese, honey (or agave nectar), yogurt and vanilla into a food processor (or liquidizer).
Process until creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Scrape down the side of the bowl to make sure there are no lumps left.
Stir in the sprinkles with a spatula
Transfer it to an airtight freezable container and freeze for a minimum 6 hours but preferably overnight. Store it in the freezer for up to 1 month.
MANGO AND LIME FROZEN YOGURTย
2ย cupsย (10oz/284g) frozen mango
2ย Tablespoonsย honey or agave nectar
1/4ย cupย (2oz/57g) plain yogurt (greek, non-fat or full fat)
1ย Tablespoonย fresh lime juice
Add the frozen mango, honey (or agave nectar), yogurt and lime juice into a food processor (or liquidizer).
Process until creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Scrape down the side of the bowl to make sure there are no lumps left.
Grate over the zest of 1 lime and stir in with a spatula
Transfer it to an airtight freezable container and freeze for a minimum 6 hours but preferably overnight. Store it in the freezer for up to 1 month.
COOKIES AND CREAM FROZEN YOGURTย
1ย cupย (8oz/225g) plain yogurt (greek, non-fat or full fat)
1/2ย cupย (4oz/115g) cream cheese
3ย tablespoonsย honeyย (or agave nectar)
8-10ย Oreo cookies crushed
Add the cream cheese, honey (or agave nectar), yogurt and vanilla into a food processor (or liquidizer).
Process until creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Scrape down the side of the bowl to make sure there are no lumps.
Add half of the crushed oreo cookies to the food processor and blend until the Oreo bits are broken up and evenly distributed.
Fold in additional crushed Oreo cookies for extra texture.
Transfer it to an airtight freezable container and freeze for a minimum 4 hours but preferably overnight. Store it in the freezer for up to 2 month.
