I was so proud of this that I felt like I needed to sign it haha! Apparently, a lot of people like this picture because I see people use it as their icon on instagram sometimes. It’s a bit weird because it’s been my icon ever since, but I don’t mind as long as you credit me, please!

I did this in about two hours. Took an hour for the sketch and an hour for the rest. To this day I don’t understand how I managed to do that. Granted, it’s a bit of a rough picture, and I had reference pictures for the colours, but still… I don’t get it. But I still love this picture and it’s nice to look back at art from earlier years and still like some of what I see.

This picture was something like a breakthrough after almost a year of struggling with pictures that ended up looking like crap (like, seriously, everything is worse than what I did in 2015, it’s not just that I had an art block because “my eyes were getting ahead of my skills”. No. My skills were deteriorating). 2017 was an artistically fruitful year, as was 2018, and I hope 2019 will continue the same way.
