insane feeling to be on a trip w/o someone & the only texts you’re getting from them are ones checking in on you & goodnight/goodmorning/miss you & asking abt the rides & the parks and such and NOT some threatening texts about a random non-issue-until-the-exact-moment-you-left-for-the-trip in order to guilt trip you & have control over the narrative while you’re away & try to make you feel powerless to help it
