Trump claimed executive privilege and was denied 5 times in court. The BBC now is arguing in court that since there was no executive privilege, they want those records unsealed, likely to look at Trump's ties to J6, thereby disproving Trump's claims of defamation. Yep, they've asked for Jack Smith's grand jury testimony to be unsealed.

Trump must already hand over his detailed financial records, opening the door for the BBC to examine more than 400 companies tied to Trump's family trust.

Trump wanted a headline. Instead, he's getting discovery and we are here for it 🍿

Long before we were lamenting Firefly only going one season, we were missing this criminally-short-lived film noir show that basically invented monster of the week.

It's a cult classic now and widely regarded as the prototype for the X Files. In 1974 it failed to make a big enough splash though apparently, (except with ten year old me.. who's had it living rent free in my head ever since )

Interesting blog on the Univac 1004, a computer from the mid 1960s that was still using plug boards to program it, like the older electromechanical accounting machines from a decade or more earlier.

Competing systems of the time were using stored memory programs loaded from magnetic tape, paper tape or magnetic disk, making this machine somewhat obsolete for its time.

It was nonetheless a commercial success, possibly because it competed well on price since core memory was very expensive at this time.
