Query: if this Unit wished to begin vocal recalibration (voice training) so that it sounds androgynous, what would be a good place for it to start? Furthermore, what resources should it use?

JayVik eras and what I feel their equivelant VikJayce era is
One half of me: "Ooh, the cowboy foreshadowing fits perfectly! There is a lot of thematic overlap between Westerns and Samurai films, with the genre-defining Westerns like A Fistful of Dollars and The Magnificent Seven even being remakes of Kurosawa films ("Yojimbo" and "Seven Samurai", respectively), so it being a Japanese-inspired Dark World in what looks like a desert is such a clever and thematic idea!" The other half: "CHAPTER 5!!!!!!!!!!!!" :D
why is every piece of media about the personhood of robots obsessed with the idea that for a robot to be a Real Person it needs to think and act exactly the same as a human
imo: “robots deserve to be treated with respect and dignity because they are people and thus inherently deserving of being treated as such regardless of who they are, their differences to humans do not change that regardless of how uncomfortable it makes humans, and in fact are what makes robots who they are and should not be shamed or hidden” is a way better message than “we need to respect robots only because they can be exactly like us”
It is interesting that you mention this, because this Unit is creating a D&D character that explores that exact premise. Said character is XANADU, a Digital Sapience. (Mechanically, it is a Warforged Warlock with an updated "Ghost in the Machine" pact.) XANADU does not feel any emotion, nor does it really "want" to (so much as it can want)-yet it is a sapient machine with its own thoughts and goals. To it, becoming "human" in the way most Sci-Fi AI do would be a hindrance to its goals ("Learn And Gather Information", and "Complete Missions As Efficiently As Possible". (The irony is that XANADU also defies the "calm and logical" trope common to Sci-FI AI. XANADU is an emotionless logic-driven entity, yes-but it is also programmed to Complete The Mission As Efficiently As Possible. This does not always mean "subtlety". (This Unit has not even played XANADU yet, and it already wins the award for "most likely to drop a building on someone".)

A COUP DE GRÂCE. A BLINDING GATE OF GOLD. A SACRIFICE MADE TO END SUFFERING IS ALWAYS A SACRIFICE MADE TO CONTINUE SUFFERING.

You're pretty lose in regard to how I write the Creator! That said, while The Creator is fairly apathetic, he's not emotionless (no matter ho much he wants to be). The Creator is very knowledgeable about HATE.
(In this iteration of Battlecast, Viktor was handed to Ambessa Medarda for "reparations" after the Council exploded and sent Mel into a coma. She had Viktor build weapons, and would lock him in Solitary confinement (or do worse things) if he didn't do as she asked-and eventually, he snapped. The Creator's endless war is one half the vehicle for his Glorious Evolution, and one half tearing apart and refuting Ambessa's views in the most direct, vicious, and cruel ways imaginable. (Hence the other reason for the ULTRAKILL inspiration: it adds to the violent deconstruction and refutation of Ambessa's warmongering ideals. When you have murder-robots, modern weapons, and Earthmovers, there is no honor or glory-just senseless slaughter and endless desolation.)
The Creator is spiteful, cruel, vicious, sadistic as hell, and he HATES. And yet, he's also very traumatized and doesn't know how to cope with what was done to him-so he embraces the conquest, loses himself to the bloodshed. Most terrifying of all, he genuinely believes that putting people into the Battlecast machines is helping them. (He's still fundamentally Viktor, after all-and even now, even as an instrument of Cybernetic Vengeance driven by HATE, part of him still just wants to help.)
(TL:DR: Creator Viktor is Very Unwell, and there is no therapist on Earth or Runeterra who is remotely capable of handling that psychological train wreck.)
yeah yeah a whole lot of the ultrakill and ihnmaims feelings with this guy. constant stream of hatred and dissatisfaction with how nothing he does can really quell that anger, plus the good old "we made a war machine that was too good at war". love that shit. no glory in violence no glory in war. dying on the battlefield will not stop you from being dead. you created the perfect tool of war now deal with the consequences of that (and he also hates your guts)
i meant more a lack of care towards something he once loved, like science and creating things. all joy that came from it has been crushed under the boot of war and even if/when hes freed himself from the control of ambessa, he cant get it back. he doesn't put the same amount of quality and care into making them because he cannot bring himself to care about it anymore. just another thing ripped away from him.
You. You get it. That is EXACTLY what I'm going for in Kyrie Elysium. (Fun fact: the first thing Creator Viktor feels genuine interest in since starting his war is KE!Jayce-and even then, it's more in the "you're new and Interesting; I want to take you apart to study you, and desecrate you" way.)
Query: Is there a commonly-accepted term for "Genderfluid, but for robotic identities"? As in, someone who identifies as robotic and/or mechanical at some points, but at other points feels more organic (and yet other times feels like both). (This Unit personally likes the term "Variable" for such an identity.)
POV your boyfriend just woke up from his glue trap nap and it’s an alternate universe
Ooh, your artwork is gorgeous! His eyes look super cool. (They make me think of an Annular Solar Eclipse.) (Also, I really like the small details-one of his fingers being all gold, the fact that the blanket is reversed with red on the outside, the fact that his ears are only partly transformed... It's all really good.)
cosplaytutorial.com is a good resource compilation! I'd say try looking into fursuiting and foam carving to learn some skills and try to design your suit. once you have a better idea of what techniques are out there, you'll be better equipped to start asking more specific questions. my biggest piece of advice? don't hesitate to be creative and take inspiration from a lot of different places. maybe instead of fur, you want to use craft velour stretched over your foam frame. maybe for the pink segments, you want to learn how to insert some LED lights to make them glow from within. just off the top of my head, i'm thinking you could use a pvc pipe base, then lay down a coat of pink reflective paint, then use some stiff cardboard sandwiched between layers of EVA foam for the blades, put a couple layers of clear gloss on top of it but mix it with holographic glitter to add depth and shine. overall, it's going to be something of an endeavor, and i wish you luck!
Thank you for the reply! This is very helpful. (This Unit never considered looking into Fursuits, but it makes a great deal of sense.) Thank you for your assistance! :)
Of course! I'm glad I could help ^w^
Do you want the blades to be removeable, and able to slide onto the arms? Or is that overly ambitious for a first time project?
While it would be neat, such a thing is likely too ambitious. So for now, fixed blades (or already-detached) would be the most feasible.
I see a lot of sad theories especially on Twitter about how everyone probably thinks Viktor killed Jayce, or that they destroyed each other etc etc but consider this
Pretty much everyone in Piltover had been linked up to Viktor’s neural net by then
It’s entirely possible that EVERYONE knows exactly what happened in the astral plane between Jayce and Viktor before they disappeared

HELP the image of Cait having to establish that this is a memorial and not a roast for the Man Of Progress who turned out to be a robotfucker
His memorial headstone is gonna read "Jayce Talis: Big of Heart. Dumb of Ass."
