i've lost my muse for eric and, while, i love him to death, and i love all the relationships i've gotten to forge here, i can't force it. i've tried to but i just can't, you know? 

this isn't a goodbye, though. i will be back one day. once something or someone catches my eye and makes me go, "eric o'grady, you louse" like was the initial impetus behind the this whole she-bang. 

i will most likely be on my other blogs, the link's in the sidebar, so if you still want to roleplay with me, i'm there.

i just want to add, a heartfelt "thank you" to everyone who's been here with me since december or whenever i made this. you guys gave me the confidence to stick around in the comic rp scene here on tumblr from which i made so many great friends. i just, from the bottom of my heart, want to thank you. you know who you are.

Smirking, she shoved him gently in the chest, not noticing if there was or wasn’t an arm around her. Games like these fascinated her, even now. There were so many people here willing to sell out their family and themselves just for their fifteen minutes.

"Ha, how stupid can you be!?" he yelled at the TV in between cackles. "Man, if I went on one of these shows, I'd pass. Look, watch, I can get these easy." Eric wasn't lying either, he guessed the number one answer to the next three questions.

Nat chuckled, shrugging at the idea. It couldn’t hurt. Though, she’d never really understood Family Feud. Perhaps it was because she’d never had a ‘family’, or perhaps because she simply found the contestants rather stupid. “Let’s do it, then."

"Awesome." A few contestants came up and gave their typical answers, none of which were very smart. Eric laughed at it, sometimes a small chuckle, others a hearty laugh but he enjoyed it. " 's pretty good, huh? I mean, they make me look like Pym."

But it was an accident… I was brought back but a comatose Scarlet Witch… She wasn’t even aware that I came back ‘til we bumped into each other. I’m 16, and I should have a handle on all of this and I’ve been ‘round superheroes for a decade and this should be normal by now… but… it’s not.

Okay, so maybe it was an accident. But --but, you have the opportunity to capitalize on that accident. Make something of it, make everyone believe there was a reason for it. It's not...normal. It will never be normal, Cassie, never. People aren't meant to come back from the dead. You're...special for that reason. You get the chance other people don't get. Accident or not, do something with it.

"Game shows," she repeated, scoffing slightly. “I remember when they invented those things. They’ve gone down hill since. But sure. Why the hell not?"

"Well, let's see..." He flipped through a few more channels, settling on Steve Harvey's run on Family Feud. "Harvey's funny. If it was earlier in the day, we coulda' watched Let's Make a Deal with Wayne Brady."

But it’s just… it doesn’t add up, y’know? I mean, I shouldn’t even be here—it was just kind of an accident, and… it’s so dumb, but it’s like I can see all of these people in my head who could do so much better and do so much more help if they were here and just… Stuff I can’t change, and it sucks so much.

Stop thinkin' that immediately. It couldn't have been just an accident. You don't just waltz out of the afterlife because it's an accident, kid. Death's not that ineffectual. Something brought you back for a reason. You're supposed to do something with your life. I'm not gonna' lie, maybe there are people better than you right now but you're what, 12? You've got time to grow into a better person. And you probably will. Hell, I'unno, Ant-Woman's got a ring to it. I could see it happening.

Poking at his ribs, Nat smirked before allowing herself to rest her head on his shoulder. “I think reality tv is probably wasted on us, O’Grady. We don’t exactly interact with reality the way that normal people do."

"...'s a fair point, actually. I still think it's hilarious, though. Except that Kardashian thing, it's just terrible." Eric shudders to give it emphasis. "Ya' like game shows?"

How you ever thought you deserved the mantle of a genius like Pym is beyond me. The other Ant-Man works with the Fantastic Four and you contribute nothing but quips? Honestly, why even bother?

Because I do save people occasionally. Like a kid once. If I wasn't there, he'd probably be experimented on and tortured and all sorts of things. 

And I'm only contributing quips because, well, you haven't done anything requiring me to kick your ass.

"What are we watching...wanna' laugh at reality TV shows?" he said, flipping through channels. He wrapped one arm around her--expecting a rebuff of some sort eventually if not instantly--and pulled her in closer. "...Wipeout's on but I don't want to watch it because it just reminds me of things you can do that I can't."
