i feel like im a weird age where i got just a blurry glimpse at the world Before. it used to be cold in the mornings and websites had fun games and the search results showed you what you searched for. covid wasn't a thing. can anybody fucking hear me. did i dream it all????
It's almost like something happened in 2020-now that is causing these problems.
ohh yeah im a real piece of shit 👍 job please
I do think the post that's like "when they torture you to insanity and then torture you for being insane 😂🤣" is one of the most succinct and foundational analyses of interpersonal violence and conflict that had ever been written

"Saying how anti-trans policies affect cis women will get conservative cis people on your side"
1) no it wont, trust me when i say these bastards can rationalize any contrarictory belief
2) can we spend more time talking about how trans women are human beings deserving of respect?
Any reversal of anti-trans policies whose basis revolves around cis women is a pyrrhic victory. It addresses one symptom of transmisogyny, and does not adress the bigger issue of "people hate trans women enough to attempt to legislate us out of existence"
If we dont address the societal transphobia/transmisogyny, nothing of substance will change
normalise saying ''what the fuck is wrong with you'' to mean people
I’m so pro abortion I feel insane hearing any other take on it
Even lefties I know will eventually concede to some situation where they think it’s right to force someone to carry a child against their will as if that’s not one of the most inhumane and cruel situations to put someone in regardless of any other factors
the thing you need to understand is that mario is not a young skinny guy. mario is a kindly old uncle to me. and he's fat, and thats fine. like. he's like an uncle who would babysit you as a kid and he never yells at you and would make you the best plate of spaghetti you've ever had, and when he leaves you can't wait to see him again. he loves going on adventures and he loves his brother and he loves the mushroom kingdom. and like he's a silent character in the RPGs but (to me) in the sense that he's just a quiet, humble guy who prefers to listen and when you're talking you can tell that he's listening and he cares. if you got interrupted in mid-sentence by someone else, mario would ask you to carry on where you left off when there was a chance. if you were walking in a group and you had to stop to tie your shoe, and everyone else went on without you, mario would wait for you patiently. i dont mind if you ship him and peach but to me he doesnt rescue her because of romantic love, he's just a good guy who wants to help out. this is my truth. mario is not Crisp Rat. mario is a nice older man and i stand by this. i love you mario mario.
these images are My Mario... i like old mario art from when he was round and kind of cute. mario wonder is a big step up from the art style they were using for a while but its still not the same
To me Mario was always like my mexican grandpa. To this day I struggle to not consider him latino.
Contrary to popular belief the biggest beginner's roadblock to art isn't even technical skill it's frustration tolerance, especially in the age of social media. It hurts and the frustration is endless but you must build the frustration tolerance equivalent to a roach's capacity to survive a nuclear explosion. That's how you build on the technical skill. Throw that "won't even start because I'm afraid it won't be perfect" shit out the window. Just do it. Just start. Good luck.
yeah, sure
