“ Maybe that’s why they hide, so no one tickles their feet! ” It was a good a guess as any, she supposed.
“Maybe!” Morgan thought to herself for a moment. “I will just have to tell the bigfeets that I won’t tickle their feets. I just wanna say hi and have a tea party with them.”
She brightened.
“When you’re better, can you have a tea party with me!? I have a new hat that you can wear!”

“Uncle Clint took me to the zoo! They didn’t have any Bigfeets, though.”
“ French is awful, ” Isleif agreed, like she didn’t have Icelandic for a mother tongue.
“ They didn’t? Well that’s a shame, maybe they were hiding. ” She may not have been lying, she’d seen enough weird shit to last a lifetime and Bigfoot being real wouldn’t even be a shock.
Morgan smiled satisfactorily. She was glad someone understood her pain.
“Uncle Clint said they don’t live at the zoo. They might live in the wild, though! I want to meet one someday! I bet their feets are real ticklish!”
She burst into giggles at the thought.

The moment Morgan runs into the room ( a guest room at the Lake House, he’s staying for the weekend ) and clambers onto the bed, Peter can feel himself being PULLED from his sleep ( even without the yelling, enhanced senses cause him to be a lighter sleeper most of the time ). Exhaustion still clings to him, and it takes him a moment to blink his eyes open, but when he does, he sees her jumping up and down right beside him, and despite how tired he is, can’t help his lips from spreading into a slight smile.
“Morning, Morgan-” He mumbles, turning onto his back and pressing his elbows against the mattress, pushing himself up in a sitting position. Untamed curls fall in his face as other strands of hair stick out at odd angles, and he yawns, briefly stretching once he’s propped himself up. “I’m up, I’m up!” He laughs, already ( mostly ) awake. “Careful, you might fall off or something, and then Spider-Man’s gonna have to catch you.”
Morgan giggles as she watches Peter wake up. He looks so silly! His hair is everywhere! He says something, but the little girl only catches the last bit. Morgan’s eyes gleams with excitement, and she launches herself at Peter.
“Catch me!”

“Okay. I’ll set the timer.” Morgan looked at her Dora watch and said, “Friday, set the timer for five minutes, please.”
Oh no. Well, no time like the present to get cognitive abilities back, right? “ Thanks, kid. ” Slightly sarcastic? Perhaps. “ Why don’t you tell me what’s been happening since I got here. Get me up to speed. ”
"You’re welcome!” Morgan beamed at the ‘praise.’ “Well, I made 50 piece puzzles now with Happy, and Mommy is teaching me French. It sounds weird.”
Morgan scrunched up her nose.
“And Uncle Clint took me to the zoo! They didn’t have any Bigfeets there, though.”

“I think they like it warm, I’m sure there’s plenty of animals that like it cold that we can hang out with.” Clint brushed some hair from her face reflexively, like he’d do with Lila when visiting the farm. “We’ll see when we get there, okay?”
Morgan smiled and leaned into Clint’s touch. She liked him. He was weird, but he was also really nice.
