isaac who's a failed jock.

it's one of the main things him and his dad argue about a lot.

he was really good at track. two minutes faster than everyone else when he ran the mile. almost always got first place.

his dad, a former basketball player, obviously saw potential in him. isaac did fine in tryouts, so he got on the team.

he really wanted to be good at it. he really, really did. unfortunately... his skills in the sport outside of running were uh.. subpar. to make it worse, his other teammates were the rudest people he had ever met.

he ended up in saturday school with healing bruises several times throughout the season he played because of how much his teammates dared to bully his friends, especially behind their backs.

he hasn't done a season since. he just wants to run.

I did a randomised JRWI world swap, so this is the UPP kids in the fabula ultima world. I’m planning on doing some more, I have a list already mapped out and randomised.

anyway, i have no idea what the lore would be in this world, maybe they’re just an adventuring party that protects their small village. open to ideas (also yeah I just stole william’s bone wizard idea from when they went to Fauna in PD)

i dont have the energy to write fanficiton, but if i did id write about norah and isaac, years after the events of upp take place. they aren’t as close as they used to be. In fact, they barely see each other. But once a year, they visit Lui and William’s graves, and spend the day together catching up, and reminiscing on once was. maybe isaac is the only one who stayed in deadwood, staying behind to take care of his mom. maybe norah and her mother moved far away, maybe she’s going to college now, maybe she keeps tabs on the a certain hero in training that looks way too familiar. or maybe not. maybe both of them are living lives they never saw for themselves. and thats okay. maybe they aren’t entirely safe from the horrors of deadwood, maybe now they just have to deal with it alone.

it would be the coolest most melancholy fanfic ive ever written. if i had the energy to write it.
