some info on her: she is not a god , but is the manifestation of the butterfly effect itself . in his younger days she always trifled with wanting to change how things go - shes always wanted to help, but shes cursed with never being able to interfere no matter how hard she tries he'll never succeed . they are bound to be the flap of the butterflies wings, but never the hurricane it may cause . her presence alone is the cause but never the effect , and so, she resides on the sidelines- bound to be a watcher and an inactive party in everything he causes.
Been on a mystery dungeon kick recently, mysteriously blacked out for two days and then BAM! Riptide Pirates as Pokemon.

I had such a fun time picking out pokemon for each of them, but I have to admit, I got pretty self-indulgent with it :p There's a Buizel in there cuz I imagine Arlin was a Floatzel, and Chip's favorite illusion would be one that reminds him of papa.. Ollie as an Eevee is a pretty obvious choice, he's got the vibe, and I liked the connection between him and Chip as fox-adjacent 'mons. His mom would be an Espeon.
Jay was a pretty easy read - lots of fire, lots of birds, she's a fire bird. It really is coincidence that the Flechling line is my favorite basic regional bird. I imagine that Jason would be a Ho-Oh. Maybe Ava too. Mildly related, I think Lizzie could work as a Lucario mayhaps. That might be too basic, idk.
Again, Chip was pretty simple. A mischievous dark-type illusionist just fits way too well, not to mention it already has a convenient ghost variant. The nick in his ear doesn't carry over to illusions, but the axe earring does. Don't think too hard about the logic of that. I'm unsure of whether or not Chip would keep making himself look like a Unovan Zorua after he bites it.
Okay so Gil was a bit of a puzzler. My basic criteria for him was 'water-type and has a sword' and initially I was gonna go with Dewot. I only noted Keldeo as like a secondary option, but the more I tried to convince myself out of it, the more Keldeo really fit? Not only does it meet my criteria, but fighting-type is great for Gillion, and being a mythical lines up really well with his whole 'Chosen One from the Undersea' dealio. Not to mention it's better for size variety between him and Jay and Chip. Also Puddle reference or something. Eden would be a Samurott. Probably Finn too. Maybe Drey would be a Corviknight?
Gil was definitely the hardest one to make actually look like him. He doesn't have simple accessories like his co-captains, and I didn't want to further clutter his design by adding in the armor, so he's stuck with only body tweaks.
He would be in Resolute form pretty much all the time, as it's more powerful or honorable or whatever. I'd like to think Chip and Jay wouldn't even know he has another form until he faints on them at some point, because the only time he drops it is when he's unconscious, and he always sleeps away from them. After the reveal, they would do cuddle piles I think.
On a similar note, Chip definitely convinced Gil that he was a Buizel when they first met, at first on accident, but he would just keep going with it for the bit. Gillion is very upset when he finds out, and it would lead to their canon ice arena fight.
