The raven thug came back to the little place that him, Isabel and Farlan were occupying, he stumbled into the place with cuts and bruises on his face. He managed to make it to the sofa without collapsing onto the floor, not bothering about the pain he was currently experiencing.
She didn't have to look to know that he had returned. The sound his boots made as they pounded against the wooden floor was something she knew all too well -- but today, it was different. His foot steps were slow, uneven. It...it wasn't write. "Big brother? You alri--?" She turned to see for herself, but it wasn't the sight she thought she'd see. "Levi!!" Isabel jumped from her seat and ran to him, trying her best not to panic. "What happened? What happened? You look awful! Who did this?!
Does it sting to know that you not only got Isabel and Farlan killed, but Petra and the rest of your squad too? Do you feel like you failed them?
"Of course I feel like I failed them, I was in charge of them!" He raised his voice, tears threatening to come out of his eyes. "If you were in my position then you would understand!!"
"Leviā¦you know I canāt do thatā¦" She sighed softly, her brow creasing.Ā What she wouldnāt give to wipe away his tears, to hold himā¦to make him smile again. "We still love youā¦donāt forget that, okay? But you donāt need usā¦not anymore."
He sniffed up his tears "But. I still need you, no matter how long you two have been away." He wiped his eyes and cheeks "I still need my family."
"I never once saw you cry while I was alive...a-and I...I really don't want to see it now, either." It was then that Isabel started to rub at her own eyes.Ā "Dammit...Now you're gonna make me start crying..."Ā

He was always so uptight. He rarely smiled...but when he did, it was certainly a sight to behold. Isabel had only witnessed a few during her time with Farlan and Levi. She often wondered why he always seemed so upset...and she took it upon herself to make him happy when she felt he needed it.
